Great location

Overall the property that we rented for our family vacation was very clean and in excellent location. The apartment is on the top floor which adds to amazing views. Communication with the host was smooth and the host responded to my questions very fast.

Great base location for Skiing

Apartment in a great location in Canmore close to transport with free underground parking. Apartment was clean and had amazing views of the mountains. Host friendly and responsive. We will definitely be returning here as a family again in the near future.

Great Place!

We really enjoyed this condo, clean and well equipped. Good location. Would stay again! Only thing not great (and nothing to do with condo) is pool/hot tub area. Very small and loud.

We loved that the suite is on the top floor of the beautiful Solara Aurora building. It has beautiful mountain views out the living room and bedroom windows. The huge bathtub can't be beat! It has a full kitchen which we enjoyed using. They even have dried spices/herbs to use! I look forward to staying there again!

Lovely Canmore Condo

This was a great location, heated underground parking, lots of amenities and very spacious with mountain views. Not right downtown but easy driving or walk. The condo is a little dated but fairly comfortable and clean. Overall, a great place for couples.

Wonderful 40th Anniversary

This was an amazing condo couldn't believe how nice it was and for the price it was a steal. The underground parking was great as well considering how parking has been for the rest of out trip to Canada. I only wish we could have spent more time in the condo enjoying it. We would absolutely stay here again.

Awesome Penthouse

This was a wonderful, spacious place to stay. Everything was clean and well maintained with everything we needed for our stay. The large balcony had a gorgeous view of the mountains and could accommodate medium size groups. We hope to stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

My boyfriend and I ended up staying at this location when we were in Canmore for a wedding. The cost and location were great. The unit was very clean and large. Great views from the balcony. We will be rebooking.

Lovely stay

We had a great week exploring the Banff area. Canmore is the perfect location for this. This condo served us very well! Nice floor plan and amenities. Being on the fourth floor with a large deck/porch allowed us to sit outside most evenings.

Spacious 4th Floor Solara Penthouse

Unit is spacious with great views. Underground parking is excellent. Bed is very comfortable. TV is actually a free streaming service with very limited options and no sports at all. BBQ is electric and operates poorly. Elevator was removed from service for replacement during our stay which proved difficult given that the unit is on the 4th floor.

Beautiful condo to stay in with many amenities. The outdoor area was not clean, we like to spend most of our time outside when weather permits. The elevator was out of order. This made it difficult to bring our items up to the 4th floor. 5 flights of stairs from the underground parking. We definitely got our steps in!!

Wonderful stay

This penthouse suite has it all. We spent 4 nights/5 days enjoying mountain views from the deck, the kitchen, the sitting area, and the bedroom. We were aware of the elevator being unavailable due to maintenance; it's manageable. My favourite thing about this particular rental was the readily available extras like 3 super comfy blankets. They also provided ample coffee, tea, dishwasher tabs, TP, paper towel, garbage bags, and laundry detergent. We have stayed other places where you are counting every dishwasher tab or garbage bag provided, knowing you will run out and have to go buy more. The hosts asked us to empty garbages, run the dishwasher, and throw in a load of towels on our way out which we were happy to do since they provided all the product required. We would definitely stay there again.

Great property

Property was great. Location is very good for Banff. Not as crowded as Banff, which is not a bad thing. Easy drive to park. Condo was about as well stocked as any we have ever seen. Was not lacking for anything. Check in could not have been easier and no issues with check in or parking. All things considered, one of the best rentals ever. Would not hesitate to do it again.

Mountain "get away" was perfect!

My husband and I just wanted a weekend 'getaway' to the mountains. The condo was very clean, well furnished and very beautiful! The bed was super comfy with lots of extra blankets to keep you warm. Although we didn't cook any meals there, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the equipment you would need to make a meal. The owners were very responsive to our messages and even accommodated us when we asked for an extra night stay because we were enjoying it so much! I would definitely stay here again on my next getaway to the mountains!

Beautiful condo

We stayed in this amazing condo while in town for my daughter’s gymnastics competition. I was impressed at the size of the condo. It was spacious, had very comfortable beds and linens. The kitchen came fully stocked with anything you needed to cook a great meal. The views of the mountains from the balcony and the bedroom were wonderful to wake up to. I was really happy at how accessible the parking was. We were very close to anywhere we needed to go. I appreciated how quiet the building was. The hosts were available by texts when needed. We absolutely loved our stay and really hope to stay in this unit again next year!

Penthouse in the Solara - all it is made out to be

My wife and I looked for a brief escape to the mountains and found this gem at a very affordable rate in the offseason. From the very first moment we booked, we felt good about the decision. The communication with our hosts was great leading up to arrival and then perfect once there. They went beyond to fix a small issue we had upon checkin and even further after our departure, when they offered to mail me a remote control I had forgotten in the condo. The condo itself is perfect for two people. Very spacious, with a wonderful balcony looking right at Lady Macdonald, a bright kitchen area with lots of workspace, a very spacious bathroom with bathtub and luxury shower. You feel at home the moment you walk in. Anyone reading this review and wondering whether to book their stay here can only be encouraged. We will definitely keep our eyes out for this unit when next we travel to Canmore.
