Fall Family Trip

Enjoyed a long weekend with family at the Nordic Inn in Lincoln NH. The kids especially enjoyed the indoor pool and game room. The Inn is ideally located - close to restaurants and area attractions. Loved that the unit had three full bathrooms and the loft space was spacious. The management team was friendly, helpful and responsive. Would definitely consider staying there again.

Trouble checking in

We had some trouble checking in. First, we were expecting to find the lockbox with the key attached to the door. There was no lockbox there. I tried calling the contact person, but only got their voicemail. Since there was still someone at the desk, I was able ask where the lockboxes were located and found them. There were 20-30 lockboxes, each identified with a number, but the numbers did not correspond to the unit numbers. Nowhere in the check in instructions was I told the number of the lockbox. I tried calling the contact person again, but only got their voicemail. I ended up trying the combination on every single box until I found the right one. This was not a good way to start a vacation.The TVs were difficult to watch. The remotes were not interchangeable between the different TVs. A remote for the master bedroom did not have any batteries. Each tv had 3 or 4 remotes and it was confusing to try to figure out how to use them to watch what we wanted.The unit itself was clean. The beds were comfortable. There was a pantry with some food that we were told we could eat. There were several movies on DVDs for our use. There were also games available, such as Trivial Pursuit and a giant Connect-4.

Weekend getaway with familu

The good: Perfect location. We drove to the mountains for a hike and were just 0.5 miles from the Lincoln strip of restaurants. The property has a sidewalk in front for a quick bike, jog or walk. The kitchen was great!! Well stocked- plenty of silverware, bowls, everything you could want. Super happy with that!! Couches were comfy. Plenty of space to sleep!! The upstairs bedroom with lots of beds was great for all the cousins. It also had its own ac unit. There were dvd movies, video games and board games to choose from. Great space to gather and connect. The pantry had lots of spices, extras like pasta or sauce, so many things that we could use. Very kind to leave them behind. The bad: The downstairs two bedrooms did not have ac- only a single wall unit in the living room. Be forewarned if it’s warm. There was one bathroom sink that was not functional when we were there and there was no mention of it, just a surprise when we arrived. The previous renters took the TP! We had to go out and buy a couple rolls (with resort town prices $2.59 each). Took 6 hours to reach the owner. It was a Sunday when we tried to reach her so that might have been why. There were Oreo cookies under the upstairs bed. Not entirely sure the cleaners vacuumed the whole place. The fun stuff (pool, game room, hot tub) all closed at 8:45. That’s wicked early. Overall: Would definitely rent again. The location and the living quarters were great.👍
