Welcome to your luxury Vancouver suite, steps from the Canada Line. With a private entrance, free parking, private washroom, and quick access to downtown and YVR (both 15 minutes away), itâs perfect for business or leisure. The space includes a comfortable bed, high-speed Wi-Fi, and essential amenities. Enjoy a peaceful stay near shops, dining, and transit, ideal for exploring the city. Perfect for guests seeking comfort, convenience, and style in Vancouver!
We really enjoyed being out in the suburbs, and being able to use the nearby metro station, as well as walking places.
The apartment was clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable.
The only downsides were the broken toilet seat that was held together by duct tape (uncomfortable on the legs), and the lack of soundproofing. We could sometimes hear loud voices coming from the room above us, as well as scraping chairs, and one evening these noises went on quite late into the early hours of the morning which kept us awake.
Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay and the owners were lovely.
This rental was clean and had everything we needed. It was located near the Skytrain, about an 8 min walk away. It has a kitchenette complete with cooktop, 3/4 fridge, microwave, and a king bed, it was perfect for our 5 day stay. Paul was a good host, easy to reach and available to answer questions. He offered free Wi-fi and Netflix, too!
I would recommend it if you are visiting Vancouver and need a nice place to stay with a good amount of amenities.
The suite was exactly as pictured. Bed was so comfortable, and location was perfect for our stay. Extremely clean and hosts were wonderful.
The only thing I would note is that the bedroom does get a bit warm at night if you keep the door closed. There was a fan provided however it was really loud (not sure if there was something lose in it or what). Also, would be nice to have a more comfortable place to relax and watch TV after a long day of touring around. Chairs were available but a lounge or small sofa would have made this stay a bit more relaxing.
A luxurious (not) little haven (not) in the heart of the city (not)
The space is very clean and private. The bed is very comfortable. You are provided with 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel. No wash cloths. We had to request coffee each morning. We were able to hear our host and his family activities, this should be noted in his listing.
Huge issue was that the listing was not accurate. Hopefully all this will be cleared up for the next guest. The profile photo was of the Home's street side family entrance with the door open. Very pretty and inviting, except that that door has nothing to do with the advertised space.
The listing emphasizes luxury amenities. Basic cable. A cozy leather sectional. State of the art commercial grade refrigerator. Non of which were there.
There was no place to relax and unwind. Nothing comfortable to sit on, no cable TV. The outdoor space is a cement well with one chair. Not inviting at all.
I made an attempt to discuss this with the host. He did not accept responsibility. Instead he told me that he had hired a third party to manage the listing and that they were responsible.
This is a very convenient location near a subway station. It is a small apartment, perfect for two. However there are few groceries or restaurants in the area, so you have to plan accordingly.
Unit is in the basement - this is not mentioned clearly in the Expedia ad. The unit does not feel ventilated, especially on a warm day. No window in bedroom. Thereâs a window in the living room but it does not have a mesh to keep bugs out. Also it feels unsafe to leave that window open.
Unit felt overpriced. One can get comparable hotel rooms in downtown Vancouver for same or less price.
Our only problem was we had arranged a 1pm check in got there around 1.20 to find no sign on the property saying we were at the correct place and a locked gate. I tried ringing expedia and my call dropped but finally after getting my computer out found Pauls number and rung him around 2.15. to be told we were early. Not a pleasant start but Paul was great after that.
