Quiet and peaceful

We enjoyed our one-week stay in this second story apartment with lots of room, nice vistas of the mountains, and a well equipped kitchen. As retirees, we especially appreciated the quiet and the location, just a short drive to Sabino Canyon. Yes, when we return to Tucson next year, we'll consider staying here once again, for we are snowbirds, just now homing pigeons, back to snow country!

emergency stay

Overall the property was great. The location was perfect. It was easy to go everywhere we wanted to go. I was there alone for 5 days and felt very safe. The living room and dining area were furnished beautifully and comfortably. My only complaint was the bedding. I bought pillows, blankets, sheets and towels to make our stay more comfortable. Those very inexpensive upgrades would make this place 5 star.

Lovely location and great host

The best thing I can say about staying at this property is that the host was extremely communicative and responsive. The living room, dining room and kitchen were great with the exception that it stated there was a coffee maker when there was really a keurig so we weren't prepared and we love our morning coffee!! Another missing item was a cork screw for our wine and wine glasses (: Just so you know in case you drink wine. The master bedroom was a bit lacking in that the master bedroom had a not so comfortable, very low bed so we opted to sleep in the bedroom with the twin beds which are much more comfortable. And for all the wonderful supplies in the kitchen, there were not many towels for showering. The pool and whirlpool on the premises are lovely but the fitness center includes 1 treadmill and 1 recumbent bicycle. We did LOVE being close to Sabino Canyon and many wonderful restaurants. Enjoy your stay :)

Could've Been Great

Great location and good fit for our interests around Tucson area. The owner was very responsive to a series of problems we encountered and sincerely tried to fix them. It took a full day to find the coffee maker reservoir in an obscure cabinet. The clothes dryer did not work and repair persons could not fix it. One electrical circuit was unusable for a couple days. We were there during a cold week and needed blankets, but there were none. The master bedroom had a queen size futon which was low to the floor and not comfortable. Little things easily addressed would improve the place: all the towels were thin and none suitable to use the pool/spa, instructions to use the washer and dryer, add wine glasses and a corkscrew, a clock in the bedroom.

Your feedback is essential to us, and we've relayed your comments to the homeowner, who would like to address the following: -As one of our initial guests, it was unexpected to encounter a few issues during your stay. We strived to resolve any issues as promptly as possible. -Regrettably, the cleaning team inadvertently forgot to reattach the water reservoir to the coffee machine, resulting in a delay before its discovery. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused. -Moreover, an unforeseen appliance malfunction occurred with the washer and dryer. Despite arranging for repairmen, it was determined that the appliance was irreparable, prompting us to promptly purchase a replacement. Unfortunately, due to the timing coinciding with the presidential weekend, the earliest available appointment for installation was on Tuesday. We offered our guests an extended stay to accommodate their laundry needs, but unfortunately, they had prior flight arrangements. -Regarding the abundance of blankets, typically, Tucson does not require as many. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by these issues. -While the queen-sized bed is accurately depicted in the listing photos, we are committed to addressing and rectifying the other issues promptly. Regarding the other comments, addressing them is straightforward, and we are committed to accommodating them at the earliest opportunity. Our commitment to providing the best possible experience for all our guests is evident in the satisfaction of numerous others who have stayed with us.
