In the seaside suburb of Tootgarook, this idyllic bungalow provides a fantastic group getaway on the Mornington Peninsula. Minutes to the calm waters of Port Phillip Bay as well as the surf at Rye Ocean Beach and Rosebud town centre, this residence offers guests a peaceful escape while being close to the action. It’s full of character and charm, nestled on a large, leafy block with a front and back verandah. It offers three lovely bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen and an open fireplace.

Brimming with coastal charm, this property takes the traditional beach shack to combine traditional features with stunning modern inclusions. From the moment you step through the white front fence you’ll feel welcomed and at home. The front entry opens to the living area and flows to a separate dining room with eight-seater table. The living area offers plush sofa seating, TV, and reverse cycle air-conditioning and a fireplace for chilly nights. There is a large dining table where guests can come together for a shared meal, and a fully equipped kitchen kitted with modern stainless-steel appliances. Dine indoor or out on the back deck. A great enclosed back yard with a basket hoop and sand pit.

There are three bedrooms within the property, each brimming with natural light and designed with thoughtful furnishings. Two of the bedrooms have queen-sized beds, while the third bedroom has a combination bunk bed with a double on the bottom and single above. All of the bedrooms have reverse cycle air-conditioning. Each of the two bathrooms feature a stylish renovation with subway tiles, spacious shower, toilet and mirrored basin. Guests will also have access to internal laundry facilities including a washing machine and dryer.

There is parking available on the driveway for two cars.

While visiting the Mornington Peninsula, stretch your legs on the 28km Bay Trail from Safety Beach to Portsea, try snorkelling the underwater wonderland off Rye Pier and join surfers vying for the perfect wave at Rye Ocean Beach. Don’t miss an afternoon of relaxation at nearby Peninsula Hot Springs.

Start the day with coffee and baked goods from Store 360, pick up house made cakes from Peninsula Pantry and stock up on local produce from Blue Mini.

Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.

Onsite parties & group events are strictly prohibited. These include and are not limited to hens, bucks, schoolies & large gatherings.

Please note, bed linen and towels are not supplied, but can be provided at an additional cost of $30 per bed, and $6 per bath or beach towel. Please detail what beds you will require linen for and how many towels will be needed in your booking request.

Only one small dog is allowed for a fee of AUD130. Any exceptions must be pre-approved prior to booking. Cats are not permitted.
