Relax indoors & out, surrounded by trees & with a view of Lake Koocanusa, which is within walking distance. Contemporary design with warm finishes, cozy furniture & wood burning stove. Wake up in the middle of the woods in a master suite with floor to ceiling windows & patio doors to the covered, heated deck with fire table & Weber BBQ.

Cozy, Clean, and Ideal for Skiing
We had a wonderful stay at Hillary’s place during our ski trip. It was clean, private, and comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes. Highly recommend!

Fantastic modern cabin with all the amenities
We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. The place was very clean, kitchen was fully stocked, beds were comfortable, and the propane fire table was a huge bonus. Hillary was very quick to respond and was willing to go out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful House
We had a fantastic stay at Hillary 's place in Wardner. She was easy to communicate with and even helped with some info about other rentals. The home is unreal, spacious, great views, and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend Hillary and her family's cabin.

A Comfortable Stay Amidst Nature’s Serenity
Our team of 10 found a delightful retreat in the "New Modern Cabin in the Woods at Lake Kookanusa," while on a metal roofing project out of town. The proximity to both Fernie and Kimberly was a bonus. The cabin's modern amenities balanced well with the natural tranquility surrounding us, providing a comfortable haven after a day's hard work. The serene ambiance contributed to a conducive and enjoyable stay, making our out-of-town project much more pleasant. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a blend of modern comfort and nature’s touch!

We were so happy to have provided the feeling of "retreat" for this hard working crew of 10! They were able to return to our cabin after a long, hard day at work, to relax and rewind in the serenity of our home and its surroundings. Not only the perfect vacation spot, but also a perfect getaway for the everyday!

We built this cabin to be a retreat for our entire family. We love hosting friends and extended family, for a mixture of relaxation and adventure. Our favourite things to do are exploring the surrounding woods and hills, and enjoying Koocanusa Lake, surfing, swimming and paddle boarding.

We love this neighbourhood! The people who live here are wonderful and to be tucked away in the woods, but not too far from modern conveniences are a perfect combination.
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
Our cabin was built in 2023 and has a modern, yet cozy feel. A large, open concept living space is perfect for gatherings. Quiet mornings with a cup of coffee - on the deck in the warm sun, or curled up on the nest chair inside - the view and the cozy feel of this cabin are what makes it special. The outdoor shower is a special treat.
