Property Overview

Adirondack Alpine Cabin is a luxury vacation home, custom built with high-end features, nestled in the Adirondack Mountains! This stunning retreat is set on 2.6 lush acres with views of the Jay Mountain Range at the front and back of the house. The property includes .75 acres of fully fenced, flat backyard making it ideal for children and dogs. There is wire mesh between each split rail, providing a beautiful look while being completely secure. Throughout our beautifully appointed home, you'll find custom knotty pine paneling, wood or LVP flooring, high-end lighting, and stylish, comfortable furniture. With its multiple gathering areas, our home is perfect for families and friends, including a spacious living room, family room, game room, two large outdoor decks, and large back and front yards.

Whiteface Mountain Ski Area and Lake Everest Beach are about 10 minutes away and it's just 25 minutes to Main Street in Lake Placid!

Many amenities include a Hot Tub, Fireplace, 2 Large Outdoor Decks, Fire Pit, Game Room with Ping Pong, Separate Family and Living Rooms, BBQ Charcoal Grill, Trex Outdoor Furniture, Hi Speed Wifi, and plenty of easy/accessible parking is available. Use of the 2-car garage is permitted.

Bedroom Details:
Adirondack Alpine Cabin sleeps 14 guests. There are five bedrooms total, each with a King or Queen bed. The home comfortably sleeps 12 guests in 6 beds. 1 queen-sized foam mattress is also available.

The master bedroom is on the main level and has a beautiful view of the Jay Mountain Range from the large windows. A barn door leads to the luxurious ensuite bathroom with a custom 60''x36" European shower and wood cabinetry. The bedroom has a King bed, dressers, a large walk-in closet, Smart TV, and lovely LVP flooring.

The second and third bedrooms are also located on the main floor on the other side of the living room. These rooms share a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo, on-trend lighting, vanity, and LVP flooring. One bedroom has a King bed, and the other has a Queen bed. Both bedrooms are stylish and comfortable, with lush quilts and pillows.

The fourth bedroom, located in the loft, features a stunning view of the Jay Mountain Range, King bed, night tables, wood floors, and knotty pine paneling.

Enter the fifth bedroom, located on the elegant and spacious lower level, through the set of pine double doors which offer privacy and style. This room has both a King and Queen bed, custom pine ceilings, LVP, and a full-length glass door to bring the outside in.

All bedrooms boast Smart televisions for streaming your favorite programs; closets, dressers, or valets to unpack; warm color schemes, ceiling fans, and comfy linens. Bedsheets, bath towels, and washcloths are included. The beds are comfortable and inviting for a restful night's sleep under beautiful, warm quilts. Extra pillows are on the beds for your enjoyment, and spare blankets are available for chilly nights.

Bedrooms are equipped with ceiling lighting as well as side table lamps that offer a softer glow for watching TV or relaxing.

There are three immaculately clean, full bathrooms at Adirondack Alpine Cabin. Each bathroom has LVP flooring, tasteful, on-trend lighting, and wood vanities. The full master bathroom on the main floor has a 60''x36" walk-in European shower with a glass door, rain shower head, custom cabinetry, and knotty pine paneling with white bead board. The 2nd main level full bathroom has a combination tub and shower also featuring knotty pine paneling with white beadboard design. The lower level bathroom has a 60''x36" walk-in shower with a glass door, rain shower head, and large, beautiful vanity. The vanities have ample space to store your belongings. Hotel-sized bath soaps are provided.

Main Level Living Area:

Enter Adirondack Alpine Cabin from the front deck which spans the length of the home. The large open-plan living room, dining area, and kitchen are perfect for entertaining and spending quality time with family and friends. The spacious living room has a cathedral ceiling, a wall of windows, propane gas fireplace, split AC unit, and stylish, comfortable leather sofa, loveseat, chairs and ottomans. The living area offers beautiful views of the Jay Mountain Range, custom knotty pine paneling, wood flooring, and high-end lighting. A 30-foot deck at the back of the house is accessible through the kitchen/dining area.

Kitchen:

Our kitchen is fantastic! With large custom cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a full complement of tools, you'll enjoy preparing wonderful meals for the entire crew! The adjacent dining area consists of a wooden dining table and chairs with a high-end Restoration Hardware chandelier. Salt and pepper is provided - please bring other spices as you wish.

By day, views of the Jay Mountain Range are beautiful, and by night, star gazing at the inky back sky is incredible! The gated front deck runs the length of the home, so there is ample room to spread out and relax.

Just off the 30' back deck in the yard is a luxurious 5-person hot tub. On the ample deck is a Trex dining table, a comfortable deep seating set, and rocking chairs. A charcoal/park-style BBQ Charcoal grill is off the deck next to the stairs.

This is a peaceful, beautiful, and easily accessible (even in the heart of winter!) 2.6-acre property with only one visible neighboring home. .75 acres of the property are gated and fenced for the convenience of guests with children or pets. There is wire mesh between each split rail, providing a beautiful look while being completely secure.

For your comfort, from June 1st to September 15th, we are pleased to provide the main bedrooms and the living room with air conditioning units

The following items are minimally supplied (enough to get you started): toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, and bath soap. Linens are provided, including bed sheets, comforters/quilts, washcloths, and bath towels, to use during your stay. We do not supply condiments, hand towels, beach towels, shampoo, body soaps, or charcoal. We supply salt and pepper and hotel-sized bath soaps to get you started. Please bring the coffee and coffee filters.

A plow service shovels snow (above 5 inches) in winter. Sand and a snow shovel are available on the front deck for guest use. All-wheel drive is highly recommended in the winter.

Children will delight in roasting marshmallows around the firepit, making s’mores, and sharing stories from the day in the many gathering areas in the home.

The home is ideally situated just 10 minutes from Whiteface Mountain Ski Area and Lake Everest Beach, about 25 minutes from Main Street in Lake Placid, and steps from hiking trails ranging from relaxed walking/beginner trails to hard climbs/expert trails.

Boasting over 283 acres of skiable terrain, 86 trails, and 11 lifts, Whiteface Mountain has the most extraordinary vertical drop east of the Rockies. It features diverse terrain for beginner skiers and snowboarders, expert glades and slides for the advanced, and loads of trails for everyone in between! The longest run is the 2.1 mile 'Wilmington Trail,' and total skiing/boarding stretches over 22 miles. Whiteface Mountain is truly fun for everyone! In summer, Whiteface offers splendid views, gondola rides, mountain biking, and more. Lake Everest Beach is in Wilmington and has a beach, boat rentals, kayaking, picnic area, playground, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, paddle boarding, ice skating, etc.
