Guest Access:
● Access code will be sent out once the rental agreement is signed. The rental agreement will be sent to you once the reservation is accepted. Your booking is only confirmed once it is signed. Kindly complete it within 24 hours to secure your reservation. If not signed within the deadline, your booking will be cancelled with no refund.

● Early check in and late check out may be accommodated with a fee. Please contact us to see if we can accommodate your request.

*NOTE: This is a very remote destination. Expect cell phone reception to be spotty. Most businesses close early. You may need to head to Lake Placid for food or supplies after normal business hours.

Getting Around:
This destination is very remote. You will need a AWD/4WD vehicle to get around. We do our best to plow and shovel after snowfall, but due to the heavy winter conditions and remote location, we cannot guarantee that it will be completed quickly. Come prepared to be snowed-in during the winter season.

We strongly recommend that you travel in an AWD/4WD vehicle. We are located in the mountains and roads tend to be sloped and can get very icy.

Other Things to Note:
Dog fee is $150 per dog. Please let us know if you are bringing more than 1 dog so we can request payment for the additional pets through the resolution center.

Wander Home requires that all guests have their AirBnB profile 100% verified. Please upload government-issued ID and payment method in your account settings, as well as send us a photo of your ID.

NOTE: We provide enough essential items to cover stays of about 2-3 nights. If you need more supplies during your stay, you can visit one of the following nearby stores: Little Supermarket, Hannaford or Price Chopper

For non-Airbnb reservations ONLY, any eligible refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee & adding the damage waiver fee ($50) is mandatory. This fee will be added to the reservation once confirmed.

SECURITY CAMERAS / AUDIO RECORDING DEVICES
There are 4 security cameras on site:
-Doorbell camera at the main entry
-Doorbell camera at interior garage steps, capturing garage entry and parking
-Floodlight over garage facing driveway
-Interior cam in the locked mechanical closet (basement). Guests do not have access to this room.

Interaction with Guests:
We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We are only a phone call or message away. You and your party will be able to self-check in upon arrival.

Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.
