I was there three days with my girlfriend it was a very relaxing and wonderful time everything we needed was there as far as utilities and utensils and cookware Love The View and very quiet.

Amazing place!! So relaxing, quiet and peaceful. Lucky us had the whole little lake to ourselves since none of the other cabins happened to be booked our weekend (they are all the other weekends though!). Would absolutely stay again and recommend.

Absolutely beautiful cabin in a very gorgeous area with a perfect lake setting. Quiet and peaceful and the turtles and fish below the deck was a great plus especially with the food left out for them. Great set up inside and good amenities outside such as the eating table, grill and swing.

My husband and I absolutely loved our time here, truly one of the prettiest places we’ve stayed at. The cabin and the surroundings are even better in person. We loved sitting on the porch and feeding the fish and turtles, they came up to us every time we opened the door. The hiking trails were close by, it was all so peaceful and beautiful. My only complaint was the bed was uncomfortable but other than that, it was truly an amazing experience! We would 100% recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area, especially to a couple looking to get some time to themselves.

Cabin was perfect for a couple's getaway. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooling utensils. The hot tub being covered was a bonus since it rained the entire time we were there. It was lovely to be able to sit on the porch and watch the rain. Looking forward to returning to visit the caves and trails.

Please make sure you have a vehicle that is decent on gravel. The road to get there is awful uneven and gravel very easy to spin tires and not be able to get back up! Also they showed up at 10:56 as we was packing up to leave and basically pushed us out. We was cleaning up inside what we left being nice and they made sure to let me know every minute after 11am that your there you’ll be charged 25 dollars. She also wasn’t very friendly at all definitely had a bit of attitude and sounded miserable! But besides that the cabin was nice and the few was nice I had a good time!

The cabin was terrific. Great amenities, clean, relaxing setting with great views peaceful lake. Enjoyed our stay so much. Especially my canoe trip around the lake:-). It was just right!

This was a beautiful property, both inside and out. It had everything we needed and more. The cabin was very clean and the bed was super comfy! We hiked and explored on the property, as well as visited the Natural Bridge. We will definitely be coming back.

This property is great!! This was actually our 2nd time staying at this cabin and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It has everything you need and then some. Loved feeding the 3 turtles that came by every morning & evening. Highly recommend this cabin!!

Amazing cabin!!

Loved this cabin, it was the perfect setup and in a great location for fishing and exploring. Even though it rained majority of the time we were there we still had an awesome time, and were able to check out all the great places right there on the property. We will definitely go back!

Boo Bear cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the Boo Bear cabin. Very relaxing and the host was super nice. It was great talking to Fred. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely be staying there again.

Perfect little cabin

Cabin was beautiful and stocked with everything you might need. Hikes were not too far away and not busy this time of year. The decks around the house are so nice to spend the evening on. If you are looking for a great meal, please try Redpoint bbq. Thanks for a great stay!

Peace and quiet

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of days in March. The weather was cooler than we hoped, but it was perfect for hiking and exploring the property. The lake and surrounding area is beautiful. We saw a pair of bufflehead ducks hang out on the lake for a day, most likely migrating north. The cabin is perfect for a couple looking to slow down and enjoy nature.

My wife and I stayed in Boo Bear as a birthday getaway for her. We read that people often say they never left the property and we both understand why now. We cannot say enough good things about our stay. From the property itself with beautiful landscape, to the cabin being perfect and having all the extras you don’t get at other places, to the fish food to feed the fish and turtles while we drank coffee on the deck every morning. We can’t wait to come back and it surely won’t come soon enough! This property is a GEM! Here are a couple pictures, one of our cabin and the other looking out off our deck as the sun was rising!

Watched a Belted Kingfisher while drinking morning coffee

We will be back! I would build this cabin for myself. The cabin sits next to the water which you could see from the downstairs and upstairs decks. I watched a belted kingfisher play in the trees while enjoying my morning coffee. The cabin appears newer and very clean! Highly recommend.

Perfect for a Quiet Getaway!

Boo Bear has everything you need to relax and unwind in a beautiful and quiet location. The cabin was the perfect size for two people, and we really enjoyed all the amenities, like the hot tub and fire pit! The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking and really had all the basic supplies that you'd need. The bed was comfy and cozy, and there were plenty of pillows and throw blankets. We were a little sad that the gas was not on yet to run the fireplace in the bedroom. (Turned off until November 1), but that was ok. The location really is quiet and feels very private. We were a little uncertain if we were headed in the right direction when we hit the gravel road, but all the cabins have excellent signage. We took advantage of walking on the property and around the lake, but it was also a quick drive to Natural Bridge State Park and the Daniel Boone National Forest. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend Boo Bear!

Secluded getaway to recharge and reconnect.

The drive down into the valley to Bear Track Lake was our first adventure. As we rounded the bend, we could see the Boo Bear cabin and the very private lake it was over looking. As we entered the cabin, it was clean and well stocked with kitchen items, appliances, pillows and linens. We could tell that the owners had put in much thought to please their guests. The 1st floor was complete with kitchen table and a comfy couch. As we made our way upstairs, the bed was perfectly made, a closet for our belongings, and a laundry closet. Another sitting area by the gas fireplace and a private full bathroom with endless hot water. So many windows to look out and see the view, plus a balcony and a large wrap around porch to enjoy eating and fishing. A propane grill was ready for use, with an additional table and chairs. Just past the cabin was a covered private hottub pavilion, a firepit with benches, and another deck with a rodiron swing to take it all in. The cabin also had a fishing hut with dock for a boat you can rent. We jumped on the boat and explored the entire lake. The fish were plentiful and biting at our hooks. After the boat ride, we took a hike around the property which goes around the lake and there was plenty to see, including caves, overhangs and the other cabins on the property. What a great time and what a great getaway from the world. No one bothered us and it was so relaxing. We are already talking about when we're coming back. No regrets. Check this place out!
