Absolutely beautiful views, lovely kitchen and accommodations, especially the fire pit and ping pong table!!! We had an amazing time. The Hillside Orchards had pumpkins and apples and a corn maze right at the bottom of the hill.

We loved our stay! The screened in porch was perfect for cool afternoons in a rocker or on the swing. We also enjoyed the fireplace. Information on house specifics was clear and easy to understand. Thank you for such relaxing, enjoyable accommodations. We hope to return soon!

We stayed at this wonderful cabin. It was very clean and well stocked. Loved every bit of this cabin. We were a group of 6 friends and had a wonderful time. Megan was very responsive. Close to restaurants and fun things to do. Definitely will recommend this cabin. 10/10.

We had a wonderful stay in the Lakemont cabin! Everything was just as described in the listing. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the house. The 3 levels were perfect for our family and we all enjoyed the porches every night. The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped with everything anyone would need. The decor was great and the porch furniture was top notch. We would love to stay there again!

Looks exactly like the pictures. You're gonna love the porch swing during the rain. I did. I unfortunately lost my dog while i was there, but it rained the day he passed. And sitting on the porch swing in the rain....it was healing. The lake is beautiful. The people are wonderful. If you stay here, you will not regret it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the view was beautiful, the house was clean and comfortable, and it had everything we needed to grill out & chill out. It wasn’t far from the town, but felt secluded and private. 10/10 recommend.

Quaint cottage in the mountains

The three different bedrooms on 3 different levels is a nice feature. The house is very warm and inviting. The view was beautiful.

Wanted a couple of days away from the busy city life. This is just what we needed. House was spacious and comfortable. The fireplace was wonderful on the cold evenings. Would consider going back again!

Exactly what we needed in a house with a family.

We had a great weekend in the mountains . This house had everything we needed and more. Clean and warm and inviting. It was close enough to town and all the great waterfalls.

Great 3 bedroom on top of a mountain

Beautiful home with a lot of room. Beds were comfortable. Would stay again. Only concern, this is up on top of a mountain and it is a gravel road. I would not want to stay here if I didn’t have the right vehicle (we have a Dodge Ram 4x4)

Loved the property. The entire interior was done very well. Very comfortable and relaxing. The only thing that I didn't like was that it rained the entire time we were there so we couldn't really enjoy the outside. But a great property overall. Loved it.

View was beautiful! kitchen equipped with everything needed. Spacious areas with game room . Dining, antiques and shopping excellent. Only 15 mins. To Clayton .We make this trip every year . Differently will return .

My brothers 70th birthday surprise

My brother lives in Clayton and so my sister (Florida)and my oldest brother (Alabama) and I (NW Georgia) wanted to surprise him and show up on his birthday. The cabin was perfect! It was well stocked with beginning items, plenty of cookware and paper products, which we left our overstock, too. It was clean and we had a blast. Just one note….the driveway is not flat as appears in the picture. We would stay again!!

We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.- We employ a professional cleaning service to prepare the home before each guest's stay. We regret not being informed of your concerns during your stay, as we would have promptly addressed them. We have since followed up with our cleaning team to prevent future issues and apologize for any oversight.- We use Blossman Gas and have an onsite tank that is regularly monitored and refilled when it reaches 25%. We confirmed that there was sufficient propane for your stay. It’s important to note that the hot water, stove, and fire table share the same tank; had there been no propane, these amenities would not have been functional. If we had known about your concerns, we would have gladly assisted you with the gas grill.We strive to provide the best possible experience and look forward to hosting many satisfied guests in the future.

Nice home

The home was lovely but we did have a few problems that caused me some aggravation. First, the stove and outlets in the kitchen were not functioning when we arrived. We did not see the issue until we were going to bed so I got up at 6 am on the next morning, Saturday, to text our guest contact. I did not hear back from him until 7 am and then did not have a solution until later than that after he had contacted the owners. It ended up being a flipped breaker. Then on Saturday night, we tried to sit on the porch with the fire table on and we could not get it to ignite. So disappointing.

Comfortable with a Great View

The cabin was very comfortable for our family, and the location was quiet yet convenient. We were satisfied with the cleanliness of the house though there were some areas that needed a little more attention (hood over the stove, toothpaste splatters on the bathroom walls, stairs could’ve used a good mopping). This could’ve been a result of the cleaning lady feeling rushed. We arrived at the cabin 10 minutes before check-in, and she was still there. She was finished shortly after our check-in time. Overall, it had a clean feel to it and was very comfortable. Nicely decorated for fall. We all enjoyed the ping pong table and especially the gas fire pit on the back porch! Gorgeous view as well! The beds were all extremely soft, so be aware if you prefer a firm bed. Showers and tub all looked clean, and we loved having fluffly white towels to use. A few more white wash cloths would’ve been nice, but we just made sure to wash a load of whites each day. Minor thing. The washer and dryer were both large capacity, so that made laundry quick and easy! The water here is good as well. No foul smell or taste. The kitchen was very well supplied, and the snacks and coffee supplies were a generous touch. The cabin turned out to be a very cozy landing spot between all our hiking and adventuring. We enjoyed it thoroughly!

Smaller than expected

The property was easy to check in and we liked that that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The check in process was easy and we loved that they decorated the house for Christmas. It was lovely to have the fireplace and the view was incredible. We found the kitchen to be very well equipped and the stove and oven were great! The place did not feel freshly clean. The range hood was covered in grease and we had to clean the dishes and glasses. Our sheets had hair and we were glad we brought our own based on the review we read. The beds are very very soft. It was disappointing as they charge a steep cleaning fee and yet we had to clean everything upon check in. Areas of improvement include communication. It was our first VRBO experience and I don’t know if we will rent through them again because the communication was VERY BAD. I reached out to the contact provided to us, but we did not hear back for 2 weeks. VRBO had a third party called Evolve whom I called so they could provide us with answers to our simple questions, and they failed to follow up. So for over 2 weeks we could not get in touch with anybody. It was really frustrating and concerning as we were traveling over 10 hours and could not get simple answers to allow us to pack appropriately. The pictures are not accurate as the place is significantly smaller than they display online. The kitchen, living room and dining room area is all squished together with barely space to move around (we were 4 adults 1 dog).
