Built in QLD in the 70's and decommissioned in the early 2000's Robyn and Chris spent over a year renovating this beauty. They’ve kept as close to the original features whilst also designing a one-of-a-kind sleeper train getaway experience.


Set on 20 acres of farmland, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of village life, beautiful gardens, orchard, chickens, a short walk will take you to the village pub boasting cold beer, pub food and local characters!

The perfect getaway for families, girls, or boy’s weekends with 5 private sleeper rooms, a kitchenette, and a BBQ on the deck for cooking while over looking our beautiful orchid. We have 2 seperate toilets and 1 original shower room and now 1 brand new shower room just inside the front door ( we have a bit of a Get Smart twist with 2 doors to enter! The outside of the new shower room has been designed by Chris to look like a Ticket box ( see pics)

Testing the experience on their children and grandchildren the usually hard to please kids were “actually impressed” with how much they and the grandkids loved the train stay.

Hosts Robyn & Chris live on the property in the house next to the train and will be home during your stay unless otherwise stated. They’ll be on hand to answer any questions and help you throughout your stay.
Perthville is a small village situated 8ks outside of the beautiful city of Bathurst "the car racing capital of NSW" A walk around the village is a-must with some wonderful old buildings, church, school and a fabulous working bluestone pub, A new public tennis court/basketball court are on offer if you are wanting some exercise!
Further a field you will find the historical village of Rockley, a fabulous refurbished Pub in O'Connell, Cold climate winery's. A must for the garden enthusiast just 40km away, is Australia's largest privately owned, cool climate gardens "Mayfield Garden"
