The beds were comfortable, the apartment was very clean inside, the kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom / shower combinations were unique but gave us the opportunity, as a large party, to get where we needed to be on time. Everything was modern and updated. I had wished the entry way and corridor had been painted as it would have given a much better overall impression. But, the overall stay and location were just what we needed. Thank you.
Layout of the large space is odd, with one bathroom sink and a lack of clothing hooks. It is a bit sterile but what a cool space with plenty of space for a group
We enjoyed our stay in this roomy apartment with nice views over the gardens for our daughterâs graduation. Another mirror would have been handy when preparing to go out. bedside lamps would also be useful. But overall a good stay
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the old building with a modern interior. Heaps of room, well appointed kitchen with good views and walking distance to city centre.
Lovely restored building with very high ceilings and spacious. Great location to walk to restaurants, craft breweries and town. The traffic noise was more than expected so itâs worth bringing ear plugs to avoid being woken through the night. The kitchen although new and equipped could be even better with quality knives, colander, larger pot for pasta (teenage boys!) and a cheese grater. The owner was very helpful and responsive to questions. We enjoyed our time here very much. Thanks for a great apartment and a pleasant stay!!
Overall the property was warm, clean, bright comfortable and well located. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The beds were comfortable and the showers had really good water pressure.
The location opposite Queensâs park was convenient and about 5 mins walk from the Octagon and walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. It was close to the street art walking trail which was well worthwhile doing.
We had a car and were able to find parking for $10/day across the road from the apartment, although parking when we first arrived was very limited.
The first impression was not great with a musty smelling entrance and narrow steep staircase (which we had been warned about by the owner) but once we were in the apartment it was very nice.
