Very beautiful beach house, with an amazing view located in a very quiet neighborhood. Perfect place for a weekend get away. Host provided everything we could need, and was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Location

It was an over all great stay. One reccommendation is to replace the very hard mattress in the master bedroom but other than that loved to old house that had a great renovation downstairs and an awesome location.

Hub for Exploring Mainland Cape

I love a good foodie getaway and this spot is great for it. Kitchen is spacious and perfect for cooking feasts of lobster, clams and local seafood. (BYO steampot) Location is nice to bop around in Brant Rock or check out nearby areas like Duxbury, Scituate or Plymouth.

Could be a cute place but needs MAJOR repairs. Example: There are 9 nail holes in the walls of the upstairs bathroom. The couches are so soiled, we sat on kitchen chairs in the living rm. The windows are in disrepair and rain water came in. Front exterior has 2' weeds. Stayed at family's house the last night vs staying there. Pictures are deceptive.

Can’t beat nature’s sound machine- the waves are right outside. Perfect space to be comfortable and relax. Loved the original artwork too.

The owner did come with brand new sheets and comforters, for the ones that were on the beds weren't clean and were old. There was some other things that we felt could have been addressed/handled differently. Location is great.

Disappointing to not have beach access

Some nice updates had been done, but rust around windows and doors. House was adequate. Beautiful location, but no beach access, which was most disappointing. Parking was challenging and stressful

The homeowner would like to take a moment to clarify a few things raised in your review:- Beach access is available from May through early September, as the town removes the stairs after Labor Day. We encourage guests to review the listing details to ensure the home aligns with their needs.- There is one designated parking spot, and while it can feel a bit tight, most guests find it manageable.- Rust around windows and doors can occur in oceanfront homes due to saltwater exposure. The homeowner monitors this regularly, though some natural weathering is inevitable in a coastal setting.Thanks for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve for future guests!

Nice place, great time

It is just as the ad says, comfortable house on the ocean, nice nights around a bonfire ,cookouts, great seafood everywhere we loved it! Everything is in walking distance, if the beach is to rocky for you just walk a bit and you can easily find one thats not! You can't beat the sound of the waves at night and the salt air. Parking is room for one car only but our guests parked on ocean st. Overnight with no problems...Great time we would do it again

Marshfield stay

Overall location was nice. Right in middle pretty much from Boston/Salem or Cape Cod. Only downside was no blinds or curtains in main bedroom window. Made it very difficult to sleep past 5 am. Nor was there any privacy from beach goers or people walking on wall outback.

Marginal Beach House

Terrible parking, tough access in and out through tight driveway shared with neighbors. Trash container was overflowing when we arrived. House is not secure. None of the downstairs windows lock. Moldy woodwork in main bath. Disconnect between VRBO and Evolve was annoying.

Owner's response: "Thomas, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. - You are correct the parking is tight and we do have a shared driveway, we're sorry for the inconvenience. - We were unaware that the window sill in the shower still needed to be painted we will get that done right away. - We have not had any issues with the house not being secure.We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Needs attention

The location was great and that was about it. Mattresses and pillows are stained filthy. I washed the bedding before we slept because they had an odor similar to body odor or souring from something. I immediately emailed the host with photos, but got no response. There is even splattered paint on the pillows. The hairdryer threw a breaker and some of the lights wouldn’t come back on. I texted the host and he quickly responded that he’d come fix it. We also didn’t have beach access from our back door like photos show. Stairs for sea wall had been removed, so we walked down the street for access. For the money I was very disappointed.

Marshfield Stay

Was very excited about our stay here being right on the ocean. Properties location did not disappoint. Beautiful views and property. Exactly what was advertised in the photos but better!! Check in process was not great as I had to reach out on our way and talk with multiple agents to finally get our check in instructions. Upon calling though they were right on top of making sure we got them before we arrived and were very fast and put us in direct communication with property manager. Upon arriving to property we were able to get in with no issues and were well pleased with the property. House was very clean. Only gripe I really had with the whole trip was the upstairs only had air conditioning in one of the side bedrooms. The other 2 bedrooms did not have ac. So me and my wife were kind of bummed the master bedroom with the ocean view didn’t have any ac. Other couple that was staying with us had to bring a fan.so that they were comfortable at night sleeping. All in all property did not disappoint with every other aspect gorgeous views, very clean, everything you need on your trip. Just don’t know if I would come back again in the summer with main bedrooms not having air conditioning and down stairs only having 1 little one for whole downstairs
