Weekend getaway with friends. What a great place and location. Plenty of restaurants in the area and also a lot to do. If you happen to stay there Mae's across the street is a great sandwich shop. I highly recommend it.

Comfortable and Convenient

Family came to visit for a weekend and wanted a more local experience. This place was perfect and budget friendly. Would recommend - and plan to use again in the future.

Perfect home base

We were traveling all over New England but wanted a couple of “home bases” from which to take day trips. This was the perfect location for our needs. The beds were comfortable and the house spacious enough for the 4 of us to spread out.

This home had it all; beautiful ocean view, large comfortable rooms. Well equipped kitchen. Two beautiful bathrooms.Lovely living room with Smart TV.Cozy blankets to snuggle up with while watching a movie.Best of all the home was spotless! I really appreciated that!A beautiful and comfortable place to stay!

Location is great!

Nicely appointed and clean. Walking distance to downtown Brant Rock where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and ice cream stores.

Family vacation to meet family from Marshfield and Fall Creek

The experience was great. Very up to date and awesome appliances. Living room couch needs to be updated to a more cush couch. We really enjoyed the property and the closeness to our Marshfield family and Brant Rock.

Nice home base

Overall staying at this place was great. It was plenty big for my mom, brother and me. We had my local brother over with his two small children a few times and there was plenty of space to entertain them. At one point it looked as though we were going to host thanksgiving and we definitely thought we could easily make it work in this place. The only thing that was slightly weird is when we arrived there were some clean smelling towels on the living room couch unfolded. I folded them and threw them in a drawer and didn’t tell my family and no one was any the wiser. Must have just forgotten about them when getting the place ready. One small frustration is the downstairs renters left their laundry in the washer and dryer and left for the day. Not the property manager’s fault but I ended up folding their laundry and moving it to the dryer. The couch in the living room was not comfortable which wouldn’t be much of an issue if this was a beach crash pad but I caught a cold from my niece and nephew so got to experience lots of couch time ha. There’s a great breakfast shop across the street. It is just off of a busy street so lots of traffic at night, no bother to me since I live in a city but my mom commented on it a few times. Oh and it would have been nice had they left a few k cups for the keurig but we figured that out pretty quickly. Would definitely stay again though! Great value!!

Great location, could use more check-in info

This house is a great location, though right on ocean st so expect some street noise. Walk across street for sunset views, or down the street for coffee and sandwiches at Mae's. The AC was not on at all when we arrived so house was over 80* which was not super welcoming. I am not used to split systems so I didn't know the wall control was for heat and the mini splits all needed to be separately activated. The floors are super creaky which made getting my 5mo down for bed a bit of a roulette, ninja mission of watch which board you step on. The layout of the space was great. Beds were comfy and it was clean. Owner wasn't super responsive so wasn't sure about what to do with towels, linens etc at departure.

The house was nice and in a nice area . The landlord was AWFUL. 😡

I asked for more towels bc there was only 5 . He told me to wash the ones I have. Asked him for the WIFI password , he gave it to me wrong at first then gave me it correctly after he told me that he sent it to me on my check in email . Well if I could of been able to get to my email I probably would of been able to read it . Also I did text him that one of the drawers in the kitchen was broken when we got there ( also sent him pictures ) he replied, nothing was broken when we did our inspection before you got there . So with that being said HE WAS A HORRIBLE LANDLORD !! I’m in the customer service business in a car dealership. I would never treat my customers that way . I was born and raised in Scituate. , I have a very close friend that lives not 4 houses up from where we stayed . I will never rent from him again , Everyone knows in Marshfield, Brant Rock , Hummarock , Scituate and Cohasset what a ugly person he was . I will put this address everywhere on Social Media !! I have never put any reviews on Social Media but I will with him . As far as dealing with VIRBO , it was a good experience. I will for sure use them again .

Beautiful-Clean Beach house!

We come to Marshfield every summer with our children and are so happy to have found this gem. The house was immaculate when we arrived and had everything we needed when we were not at the beach all day. The cleaner even cleaned the bed quilts, not just the sheets which we were really impressed with. Makes a difference! We are hoping to return next year- thank you for a wonderful stay! Amenities needed

It was hard to access the keys from the lockbox and difficult to use the key to enter -- took us a while in the blustery wind. This property is on the second floor, accessed by 15 wooden exterior steps, so carrying bags may be a problem for you, as for us (we are seniors). We got the impression that the property was just summarily cleaned: our bath towels (not found in bathroom, but in dresser drawers), were still damp from the dryer; the bathmat in the en-suite was dirty; there was a collection of used hairpins in the night table drawer. We also needed to purchase our own soap bars (each bathroom had one liquid soap dispenser on the sink, so you would have to take it into the shower with you otherwise), shampoo, and tissues. There were no beach towels (each guest was give one hand towel and one bath towel but no washcloths), chairs or umbrella. Bedspreads were expected to serve as blankets for the beds and I worried that they had not been washed so we didn't use them. Good points were plenty of hot water and decent AC.

Relax and Enjoy this Sleepy Beach Town

My husband visited Marshfield as a child frequently, so we thought it would be great to spend a few days here before heading to Boston to visit from family. As a first time visitor, I just loved it! A sleepy little beach town with so much charm. Our rental was a short walk to the beach with three kids - wagon was super helpful! We walked to breakfast and lunch and even spent time admiring the homes. Being able to rinse everything upon return was wonderful with the outdoor hose and shower. The openness of the floor plan is just perfect for busy kiddos and so clean!

Great rental property

We really enjoyed our time here. Access to Sunrise beach was < 5 minute walk. Great food nearby with Mae's across the street and Brant Rock Market down the street.

Wonderful place!

This is a great find for anyone visiting the area. Clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated. Great location near shops and major roads. No complaints at all, hope to be back!
