Lakes Entrance stay

The property was perfect for our stay. It was spacious and comfortable with a large back yard. It was very clean and well provided for anything you would need. Thanks to the owners for their hospitality.We’ll definitely be returning to Lakes. Thank you!

Enjoyed this property- pet friendly, clean and tidy

Our only issue was a constantly running toilet which caused noise and dripping at night. Hopefully this is an easy fix for a plumber. We turned the tap off at the wall each night and back on in the morning but the constant running will no doubt increase water bills.

It had a fully equipped kitchen, good size bathroom and perfect sized garden for our very large dog. The location was quite at the end of a road finishing in a cul-de-sac. The neighbours were really friendly and helpful. The location was walking distance from a beautiful (dog friendly!) golf course and close to the beach.

The house is a perfect size for a family or group. WE had everything we needed there to entertain ourselves and prepare our meals. The backyard was a good size for our dog. IT was an easy drive to the beaches and main area of Lakes Entrance. Everything was clean and in good condition.

Lovely Place

Nicely located out of town within close proximity to walk into town, to the dog park, Eastern beach or other tracks for the doggos.The kitchen was excellently equipped for cooking with friends.The only issues we had were, even though the house appears clean, the crawling baby found other peoples rubbish left under couches and the bed. The house does need to be cleaned properly, down the sides of the couch, fridge, around the taps in bathroom and surfaces. It's also worth noting that there is a friendly but very large Rottweiler that casually wanders around. This can be very frightening if you are unsure.We loved the extra touch of local goodies on arrival. Toi

Reviewer Comments: The house is very clean and tidy to stay and great location to town centre but not a great experience for dealing with the host given very slow on response and the incorrect password for wifi been provided and when I rang through, the customer service operator didn’t sound very keen to resolve my issue, a bit frustrating.

Dishonest operators

I booked this property through Expedia as they were offering a cashback through Shopback at the time. The price of the property was inflated, which is standard practice when booking through Shopback. Shopback will now not honour the cashback because Expedia/Homeaway/Vrbo claim I never booked through them. The fact that you sent me this email proves I did. Very dishonest conduct.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I loved my stay in this home, from the location to the peaceful neighbourhood. The neighbours were friendly, introducing themselves and even inviting me over for a beer and a chat.The home was perfect for me and my dog with a secure backyard a comfy bed, under coer parking, a well equipped kitchen, a smart tv and a shower with plenty of water pressure.Only downside was the gas oven that took too long to cook a roast however the switch to the air fryer made all the difference.Defintely rent this home again for my next fishing trip.Just wanted to mention the memorable experience I have had with Gippland Lakes Escapes, they mowed the lawn for me even though it really didn't need it and every contact I had with Carolyn, Kate and Kat was truly beyond friendly and professional. I have never had such a wonderful experience in renting a holiday rental, to all involved thank you very much for making my 7 week Lakes Entrance holiday so enjoyable.Will definitely return soon.
