Your own private mini-lodge for up to 12 people plus dogs, Claymore Cottage provides all the greatest hits of a Branson getaway, plus some unexpected extras.

Start the day with a coffee on one of two covered decks and take in lovely sunrise views of Table Rock Lake and the neighborhood.

Then go for a cooling mid-day dip in the private heated container pool on the lower deck—complete with a glass front for Mermaid photoshoots.

Even better? Because it’s heated, you can use it even when it's chilly outside. This feature is unique to Branson Family Retreats—you’ll find it only here and at our neighboring Thistle Cottage.

Depending on the weather:
- Summer temperature is 84-86 degrees (roughly end of May to mid September)
- Rest of the year the temperature is 97-99 degrees for your stay (mid September until end of the year school holidays and again mid March to just before the end of May)
- Container pool is CLOSED from January to early March (neighborhood indoor pool is OPEN)

Your group will love having 5 deluxe bedroom suites to choose from, all with king-size beds, luxurious sheets, and their own attached baths.

The accessible main level (including an accessible bedroom + bathroom with grab bars and transition shower), combined with a ramp for easy Cottage access, means everyone in your family can join the fun.

Thoughtfully curated decor throughout Claymore Cottage brings a touch of Scottish history to the Ozarks.

Vacationing with a larger group? Double the fun and rent Claymore Cottage together with the next-door property, Thistle Cottage, to sleep a total of 28 people.

If you’re visiting outside of summer—a great choice; the off-season is lovely!—pile onto the caramel leather sofas around the stone gas fireplace in the Great Room and share stories over cocktails or hot cocoa.

Send your kids (or husbands) to the family room for a game of pool or a movie and tell the stories you skip when they’re around. 🙂

At dinner time, the kitchen is a dream to cook in. It’s well-equipped with appliances both large and small, and a roomy center island allows for easy prep work.

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD

Up a sending road from a public boat lunch and sweet cove to play in and no more than 35 minutes from practically anywhere else you want to go in the Branson area, this vacation home is the perfect base to chill out at during your vacation.

Our community of Rocky Shores is 2.5 miles off Hwy. 265, giving you easy access to the traffic relief routes to move about the Branson area easily.

The outdoor pool is open late May to mid September, weather permitting, and it's awesome! Splash pad, lounge area, and the swimming area.

The indoor pool is open all year round!

It's only a short walk to the community indoor and outdoor pools, providing additional opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment. Take a refreshing dip in the pool or lounge poolside under the warm sun, embracing the ultimate vacation experience.

ADDITIONAL INFO

🐶 $35 per night per dog plus taxes. Small dogs allowed with pre-approval only. Dogs are not guaranteed to be approved. Please ask first.

💳 Credit card must be on file in case of damages. We will send you an email to authorize a $1 hold after your booking is confirmed. This hold begins 3 days before your arrival and is released 3 days after departure if there is no damage, no excessive cleaning needed, and no house rules are broken.

🚗 Drivers license will be required with our signed guest agreement after you book, along with a selfie holding your photo ID

🆔 We will perform a Guest ID verification securely through our payment processor after you book. The main purpose is to make sure no one has stolen your credit card and used it without your permission.

The Guest ID verification is a two factor authorization that asks you for your phone number and birth date, then it will text you a code to enter.

If the verification fails, we’ll cancel the reservation and void the transaction.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

You can purchase travel insurance for your reservation! The standard policy covers quite a few reasons for cancellation and applies to your whole traveling group.

Note that all new reservations have the option of purchasing a Cancel For Any Reason insurance policy besides the standard travel insurance policy. You can purchase this when you make your reservation with us, and the insurance is automatically connected to your stay.

*To receive the free tickets, you must book the attraction tickets for your family/group members through us at the same time.

**The free tickets are per stay (not per person) and not available as a single ticket on its own.

To redeem the free tickets, you would purchase the tickets for that show or attraction for your whole group through us (Ex: if you have 10 people and were to choose Silver Dollar City for your free ticket in Group B, you would pay for 9 tickets but receive 10 tickets)
