Really nice cabin for a large group to enjoy near Lake Michigan. The place was clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped to meet our needs. 1/3 mile to a public access point to the beach. Great deck space to enjoy. There are stairs that older folks might be challenged with to get to the main living area from the first floor. Not bad by any means but could be a challenge for older folks. Nice spaces to hang out with your family.
We were very impressed with the child friendly atmosphere of the cabin. It was apparent that little details were given much thought to make this safe for kids and family oriented. Everything was just as listed on the property information and when we had an issue missing a fan remote, management responded immediately and had maintenance come out within hours to replace the remote so we could use the bedroom fan. The 2nd floor deck was perfect for spending time outside with the family, while keeping young children contained to the area. The all new appliances were wonderful and the water here gets very HOT when you want it to, which is also very nice for washing items on hot.
The only downside for us was that the cabin does not have AC. We are from a cooler climate and typically prefer our temperature pretty cold around 68 degrees, so this was the only bummer. This may not be an issue for everyone depending on the temperature you like.
