Such a relaxing, quiet stay. close enough to Tamworth that it didn't feel like a big trip to head in to spend the day but quiet enough to relax and unwind
We had a lovely time in Limbri - the house was very clean and comfortable and managed to be light and airy yet cosy at the same time. Highly recommended!
The building and grounds were beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, Limbri itself is tiny, a few houses really, so take short drive into Kootingal for any necessities.
Beautifully charming, rustic converted chapel. Great communication and top tips from the owner. We stayed in winter and the wood burning stove was a total delight. Lovely rural, quaint area. Would recommend for slow days.
Thought put into every aspect of the property. Beds and linen super comfortable. Kitchen fully equipped and everything you need when overnighting on a road trip. Was the perfect stop over with my furkid.
The Steeple was the perfect getaway location for a group of friends wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautiful landscape and home, cool fire pit, all the comforts of home. We enjoyed being out of phone coverage and the WIFI was a bit spotty so was perfect to really switch off for a few days. Bring firewood for the firepit or fireplace, it was so nice on chilly nights. One of the beds did only have a summer doona but we had a couple of blankets to use. We are already planning when to come back next year!
The Steeples is a beautifully presented country property. Comfortable and well equipped. The location at Limbri is a little bit out of the way but makes a good base for exploring the New England region. If you just want to sit read and relax I could not think of a better place to be. I forgot my fishing rod which was a mistake as the river looks very promising. Down side to the location is no TV reception and we like to watch the football on Friday nights and weekends.
