Fitzroy needs no introduction and if you are looking for a comfortable base to stay and explore this trendy area, then look no further! This well-presented studio apartment is located right in the heart of Fitzroy, between Smith St & Brunswick St, so close to an array of shops, pubs, restaurants, transport, universities, hospitals & the CBD. Within 200 metres of the front door, turn right and you can enjoy the awesome Napier Hotel or turn left for all that Smith Street has to offer.
It is a 1st floor apartment and one of only 6 in the block. The property includes:
- Secure entry (you access the key from a lockbox)
- Bedroom/living area with split system heater/air conditioner, portable wardrobe, desk/table, couch & comfortable double bed
- Kitchen with bar fridge & stainless steel oven, electric cooktop & microwave
- Bathroom with shower, vanity & toilet
- This is a studio apartment which is more like the size of a hotel room but with everything that you need for a cosy stay
- Wi-Fi internet
- Plus wall mounted TV, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, linen, towels, hairdryer, iron, ironing board & much more...
- We provide coffee, tea, sugar, milk, salt, pepper, oil, glad wrap, foil, baking paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, toilet paper, tissues, etc....
Please note: There is no onsite parking on this property and no permits available but there is free parking on the street, time limits apply
There is a lockbox onsite for the security door key and the apartment door has a digital lock. Both codes will be provided to you on the day of check in.
Please note: Our check in time is 3pm and our check out time is 10am, we are unable to allow early check ins or late check outs. There is also no bag drop or storage available at this property.
Although we won't be available in person we are available to assist at anytime throughout your stay via the booking platform.
Fitzroy is an inner suburb of Melbourne only 3 kms north-east of the CBD. It is known as a cultural hub particularly for its live music scene, fantastic shops, cafes and pubs.
You don't need a car to explore Fitzroy, best done on foot or catch a tram if you want to explore further. Here are some nearby attractions and their distances from the apartment: - Queen Victoria Market is 2.6km - Fitzroy Gardens is 1.1km - Melbourne Zoo is 4km - Brunswick Street is 400m - Smith Street is 140m - Fitzroy Swimming Pool is 1.1km - Epworth Hospital in Richmond is 2.5km - St Vincent's Hospital is 1.1km
1. This property does not include laundry facilities however there is a laundromat located on Brunswick Street just 550 metres away
2. This property has a small 25 litre electric hot water service so short showers are recommended, however it heats up again quickly (about an hour) due to its size.
3. When you check-out you will be required to leave the property in a neat state including dishes washed and put away, used towels left in the bathroom for the cleaners to collect, fridge empty, all personal items removed & rubbish removed and disposed of. This will ensure the cleaners can prepare the property for the next guest. If extra time is required for cleaning then we will put in for additional costs through the platform.
4. The bed in this property is provided with a fitted sheet, doona with cover and 4 pillows with covers. A top sheet is not provided.
As an extra security measure for the property we do require the below information to be sent through prior to finalising your booking:
- The reason for your visit
- The names and ages of all of the guests
- The photo ID of the main booking holder
The reason we ask for the above information is unfortunately due to some recent poor experiences with guests, please note if this information is not provided we will be unable to proceed with your booking and the access will not be granted on the day of check in.
Our property is 100% smoke free zone. If you wish to smoke please do so outside and dispose of cigarette butts correctly. Do not smoke near open doors or windows, to ensure the smoke doesn’t come into the property. If we need to deep clean the property due to a breach of these rules a $500 fee will be charged.
Located in a small block of 6 apartments, please be mindful of noise and your neighbours.
