Laila, apologies that you have had a bad experience in our cottage for New Year’s Eve. In regard to the cleanliness of the property, we have a professional cleaner that cleans the cabin after every stay. We have had this cleaner for years and are very happy with her work, so it’s surprising to us that there was an issue with the cleanliness. Unfortunately, Air conditioning was not listed or advertised on our booking page as an amenity, hence there was no A/C. We did however have a brand new fan for you to use during your stay. While there was no “normal tv” (which again wasn’t advertised) we did however provide you with the use of 9now, 7plus, 10 play, Netflix, Disney, prime and many more. Although the fly screen has never been an issue in the past, we do appreciate the feedback and will endeavour to include this for our future bookings. Again, the feedback regarding the door lock is appreciated. Upon checking, the lock itself has no problem, but the latch however did require to be pressed a little harder than normal to open. We apologise that this occurred during your stay. Whilst we always try to be on our phones for emergencies, it was New Year’s Eve and we were spending it with our family - which is why it took us 10 minutes to call you back. Also, my son attended your issue at 8am on New Year’s Day this was l12 minutes after you called and unfortunately by that time you had already packed up and left. We will try and be more prompt to emergencies for future booking.
