Great time!

The house was just perfect for my family and my parents. The screened in porch was great to be able to be outside with the kids without worrying about them getting too close to the pool. We had a great time and would recommend this place. We rented a golf cart so we could access the beach quickly and easily. There's also a playground nearby that we visited almost every day.

When can we return?

We enjoyed the large common areas. The grand boys liked the pool. We all liked the screened room with plenty of seating and a tv as we watched college basketball. Close to park for the boys to play basketball. And we all played some pickleball.

Clean, family friendly, but

The overall stay was good. The house was clean and beautiful. The town was great. Beach access was easy, and not busy, which was great!!! The private pool was also a Pro. Cons: beds were extremely uncomfortable and noisy. The jacuzzi tub jets didn’t work, which wasn’t a major thing. The biggest complaint were the beds and bed frames.

Fall getaway

Property was clean and in a very safe neighborhood. Area around pool could use some TLC but rwst of house was wonderful. Really enjoyed screened in room at back of home.

Great quiet neighborhood

Beautiful cozy home with everything you need. Perfect for our 2 dogs with the fenced in yard. Just minutes away from everything. My only complaint is that yhe pool filter wasn't working but, hey, I still layed on my float for 4 hour's!

Never rent Evolve properties. Could not use pool.

VRBO properties using Evolve to handle payment is a poor process. VRBO is not being transparent in their pricing upfront prior to booking. The two do not communicate. The entrance code was inaccurate. The property host said it had been changed recently. The pool was dirty. The pool person showed up the same time we arrived and could not get the pump/filter to work. He said he would try to come back the next afternoon. He did not show. Property manager notified. There is no grill nor blow dryer. The Blackstone griddle was left dirty and uncovered. The outside chairs were broken and piled up on the side of the house. The inside of the house had nice finishes and was clean other than unwashed throw rugs throughout house.

Quick bday trip

My husband’s birthday. It was very nice to be able to take our dogs with us. We enjoyed the beach, watching sunsets hanging out by the pool and eating good food. This house was perfect. We plan to come back! Great last minute bday trip!!

Great house but pool issues

When we arrived the pool was green. The main reason we rented was for a pool. The pool man treated Sat afternoon and then again on Sunday but we couldn’t use until late Sun afternoon. There was no pool furniture—just 2 broken lawn chairs. The house itself was great!!! Just the pool. I reached out to the property manager who was very nice and I told her I would like a refund for not being able to use the pool for a day and a half but I haven’t heard back from the owner yet. Otherwise, the house was very nice.

Overall satisfied with ours stay here. We had a few minors issues but nothing worth mentioning. Nice neighborhood close to the beach.

It's a nice house overall but there are rotten crown moldings in one bathroom, sheetrock peeling in another. The sheets to the trundle were not cleaned. The comforter on one bed looked like it hadn't even been washed ever. The bathtub leaks from the faucets. The yard was gross and uncut and one of the 2 pool chairs were broken. The pool was gross when we got there too, you couldn't even see the bottom. The property manager did send someone out for the pool and was supposed to for the linen but didn't. They were timely with responses which was appreciative.

Nice house close to the beach

House was easy to locate and access. The home was clean and ready for our arrival, with clean towels in the bedrooms. Pool was nice as well as the backyard fire pit, backyard screened in porch was a great place to hang out. Enjoyed the property and would recommend.

Mexico Beach Amazing!

This property is perfectly located if you like to have a restful vacation without the hustle and bustle of tourist traps. It is a block away from the beach and we rented a golf cart so we could run back and forth from house to beach whenever we wanted. The house itself has been updated recently with lots of modern added it to it. The only thing I would suggest is to bring your own towels. I ended up getting some from Dollar General when we got there. The pool is small but nice to have. The filter only runs a couple of times a day which caused it to get dirty at the end of our trip but since we were so close to the beach we didn't use it as much. All in all, it was a successful vacation and we would stay there again.

Perfect for our needs

House was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Screened in porch had great seating options, a tv, and a small table. This is where we hung out most of the evening. Master suite is comfortable with large bath room. second bathroom was small with an odd arrangement where you had to step around the toilet to get to the shower. Kids ended up using the garden tub in the master bath. Very walkable community with little traffic in neighborhood and sidewalks along the main road. There is a small playground nearby. Area is pet friendly, but no pets are allowed on Mexico beach. We drove 3 miles down to St. Joe beach which allows dogs.

Great Pool and Porch

The house was lovely with tv viewing in all bedrooms and the porch. The pool was very nice but needed more pool chairs. The shower in the secondary bedroom needed a grab bar for safety. The screened in porch was wonderful!

We had a pleasant stay

Only issues were the tub in master was leaking from from cold handle and hot water handle was not working. All there was no hand soap in the whole place.

Beautiful house great floor plan

Check in was easy and location was great. Floor plan and the open concept was perfect for our family. This house is great for vacationing as the screened in porch off the pool has everything you need and multiple doors that lead inside. Only problem was property manager would not return messages.

House is nice but the pool was not usable.

The house is beautiful inside and the huge sofa is wonderful but…..the first thing we checked was the pool and it was green and not usable, on day 2 there was a notice from Bay county on the door about a mosquito threat due to the dirty pool, I think the neighbors reported it. I called and was in contact with the owners upon arrival on Saturday but the pool guy didn’t come until Tuesday morning, dumped some chemicals and said he would be back later but never came back. The owners did reimburse some of the money but we didn’t have a pool for our family vacation! It was a huge disappointment to say the least. The owners were very nice but still, I spent lots of money, lots of searching for the perfect place for our yearly family vacation and it was ruined with no pool. Someone should have checked the pool before renting this house to unsuspecting people who work hard for their money and spend months planning a fun vacation for their family only to show up to a dirty pool for 7 days and nothing can be done. Very disappointed and will not come back or recommend this home.

It was ok the toilet was broke . The outside swing broke luckily no one was hurt. Beds are not comfortable at all . Location was good . Outside TV does not work . All In All I would rate the stay a 6

Mexico Beach

The house was very clean. It was in a good neighborhood.Close to the beach. The pool was green and unusable when we got there. We emailed the property managers and the pool guy came the next day to fix it. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Lovely home great location!

My husband and I brought his sister and her husband and our dog down for the week and had the best time! The house is clean and well kept. We did have to call about the pool but once we learned the issues were from hurricane michael, we were much more understanding. The pool guy came next morning and we had blue water all week. We would definitely stay here again (heck, we’d buy it from you we loved it so much). So close to beach access and in a great neighborhood! Will be back 😀

Beautiful home

Loved the open floor plan and back porch overlooking the pool. The house had everything and more that we needed. The beds were firmer than we are used to, but that was just our preference. Everything was new.
