Large Waterfront Holiday House with everything
The property sits on the meticulously manicured banks of the Manning River, welcoming family and friends for a weekend, a week, a month away from the pace of big-town life.
Located in Harrington, the Manning River Manor is a grand but recent property thoughtfully decorated with guests in mind. While filled with warmth to host a couple wishing to spend their escape in the parentsâ retreat or relaxing in the master suite spa, the property also has the expanse and furniture to host larger groups.
The property has 5 bedrooms (one with TV), 3 bathrooms as well as a dining table (seats 12) that could have been pulled from a Da Vinci painting. The dining room has a magnificent view of the pool and down to the River below. A view best enjoyed at sunset.
The stunning pool and outdoor entertaining and BBQ area provide an opportunity to lose days on end if time permits, with dips in the water interspersed with long slow gazes over the river and bush beyond at Pelican Point.
Indoor entertainment is covered with 2 TV rooms featuring comfortable recliners, 75ââ Smart TVs with Chrome Coast (login with own Netflix etc. accounts), HDMI cables for connecting gaming devices and NBN WiFi throughout the house.
A fully stocked kitchen with all the regular appliances and crockery, or If one is not in the mood for cooking, Harriganâs Irish pub is only a few minuteâs walk East down the Manning River Walk.
The house is suitable for guests all year round with celling fans throughout and with 6 Split System Air Conditioning Units (in 4 Bedrooms, Dining Room and Retreat Room).
There are a number recreational activities only a stone throw away. A 9 Hole Golf Course is a short stroll away and fishing can be enjoyed right outside the backyard (byo gear or borrow ours).

The property has a 3-car garage with a table tennis table, hotel style "speed queen" laundry facilities and parking.
Other things to note
The sunset down over the Manning River is an unbeatable view. If you do spend your day exploring the surrounds or paddling up and down the river, make sure youâre back, by the pool, refreshment in hand com sunset. Itâs not to be missed.
This house is located in a quiet residential area. The neighbours are to be respected. It is an ideal house for a relaxing vacation but not suitable for large, noisy, gatherings.

I was fortunate to grow up taking regular holidays all over Australia. These included trips in caravan parks, apartments, hotels and resorts and holiday houses.
I know how frustrating it is to book a house for 10 people, only to find the dining table seats 6. Or to book a couples resort and find two spoons, two forks, and two knives - and no dishwasher.
We have tried to include everything we think you will need for a relaxing vacation.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We had never heard of Harrington. By chance we stayed in a holiday house along the manning river, a few doors up from this rental property. We fell in love with the area. It is completely on the water. The walk by the river is outstanding. The fishing is great. There is golf and and Irish pub a few doors down. You can drive to different beaches, or go a bit further and visit Forster or Port Macquarie. The house is big enough to be a great venue in all weather conditions. If you are unlucky enough to have rain on your holiday, you wont be cramped, with multiple living areas and plenty to do.
