Wonderful Stay

My Family and I had an amazing stay at this very beautiful and clean house! It had everything we needed and more! Included essentials for the beach, like chairs, floaties, coolers, a wagon and more! I would definitely stay here anytime I come to Carolina Beach and would 100% recommend to everyone! Also, the host was great and responded a quickly!

Perfect place for our weekend getaway with family. I do recommend screening the street for the “recreational activities” of neighbors that can be seen from the balcony. No judgement, just a Mom tip.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay. Close driving to the beach and cute shops. House was spacious and great amenities. The host was great at answering queations we had like being able to use the grill.

Our family vacation

My family and I take a summer vacation each year to the different beaches in North Carolina. We look for a place that is our home away from home. This property was amazing! It was our home away from home. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Nice and roomy, but a little far from the beach

Our family of five with 3 teen/young adult children and my husband and me had plenty of space to spread out. Everyone had their own bed, which my older kids really appreciate after years of sharing a sleeper sofa. The place was very clean and had all of the necessary household items, including starter toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, etc. There is no shampoo or conditioner, but we had our own so no problem. I do wish they provided more than one bat towel per person, as we had three ladies showering and washing hair, so a second towel would have been helpful. There is a washer/dryer, but for only a long weekend, we did not use it. The house is about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach, so we ended up driving and parking. We weren’t at the height of a busy season, so parking was easy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Beautiful and roomy

The house is absolutely beautiful. It’s appointed with comfy, beach themed decor and plenty of space. We had our family of 5, and everyone had a comfortable bed. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and cookware, although we did not cook any meals. Having a Keurig was great, as I am the only one of us who drinks coffee. A couple of things that would have improved our stay was a few extra bath towels. We brought our own beach towels and didn’t need those, but there was a single bath towel per person. With three ladies washing their hair and showering each day, we were short on towels. It was a long weekend visit for us, so it se led silky that we would need to do laundry just to have enough towels. Perhaps I misunderstood, but I thought the house was closer to the beach. It was about a 15-20 minute walk for us. That’s doable for our family with 2 adults and 3 teens, but might be tougher for anyone with older adults or small children. Overall a nice place to sleep on a quick trip to visit UNCW and see a concert in the area.

Great location, nice house. We enjoyed the bike trail. A typical trip at Carolina Beach is a 5 minute drive, I would recommend a week parking pass for a 100, if you're staying that long. The owner was very nice and quick to help. There are 4 things that need attention: twin bedroom ceiling fan didn't work, living room fan only worked on low and most of all the thermostat was preset for 73 degrees every day. I got up every night around 2 am to lower the temperature so we could sleep and around lunch time. My first encounter dealing with that, also the inflatable mattress in the queen sofa upstairs would not hold air.

My family thoroughly enjoyed this home and the proximity to the beach. I appreciated the amenities inside the kitchen. The cookware was sturdy and not ultra cheap like I have experienced in other homes. We also really appreciated the beach buggy, beach chairs, and cooler. This made packing for the trip much lighter. We would definitely stay in this time, again.
