Welcome to "The Holiday House,” a brand-new, stunning lakefront retreat. This bright, mid-century modern home features a cantilevered living room and floor-to-ceiling windows, offering panoramic views of Windermere Lake and the Purcell and Rocky Mountains. With a gourmet kitchen, gas fireplace, hot tub, and a variety of relaxing spaces, this property was designed for a true getaway—whether that's with family or a group of friends, couples, or colleagues.

The Holiday House has 4 bedrooms (including a 4-queen bed bunk room), and 4 full bathrooms. Located on the lake, you have easy access to a private community dock and boat moorage. It's 200 steps from the property down to the path that will take you to the private pier and beach. Restaurants, water parks, golf courses, mountain bike trails and ski hills are all close by this ideally located property.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances and amenities you’d find at home, including a Nespresso. It has a wine/beverage cooler and two fridges with plenty of room for your vacation groceries. The dining area features an 8-person dining table and the kitchen island can seat 6. There's also an outdoor table on the patio.

The upper level features a cozy living area with a Frame TV, nap-worthy sofa, and tons of natural light. You can open the lift and sliding doors to create one large, indoor / outdoor space overlooking the lake. There are lounge chairs and an outdoor firepit for you to enjoy while you take in the beautiful views. There are 2 bedrooms on this level: a luxurious, ensuited master bedroom (The Windermere Suite) that features a king bed, as well as a stylish guest suite (The Deerfoot Room) with a comfy queen bed. We also have a "work from home zone" set up (including a monitor, printer, and Wi-Fi) if you need to put in a few hours.

The lower level features a “kid zone” with 4 built-in, queen bunk beds that sleep a total of 8. There's also a Smart TV—perfect for movie nights and gaming galore! The media center is filled with books, toys and games and there is a full sized video arcade with over 300 games to keep kids of all ages entertained. We are set up for families and the house is equipped with a high chair, travel crib and toddler blow up bed. There is a bathroom with a tub and shower located beside the bunkie room. The laundry room lives on this level, along with an additional ensuited master bedroom with a king bed and amazing private balcony (The Kinsman Suite).

Unique home with an amazing lake view

The Holiday House is a wonderful home that is very well equipped and has many great features that make it an exceptional rental. Jen is an excellent communicator and kept us well informed at all times about the home. Their Welcome Book is an excellent reference as well. The home itself has many great features including fantastic decks with fire tables, great seating and a good barbecue. The home’s finishes and architectural is very impressive and adds to a great rental experience. We highly recommend this home. You won’t be disappointed.

Perfect location in a perfect home away from home

The house is very modern clean and is in a perfect location facing the lake. We had fun watching the sunrise and having tea in the front patio with the fireplace on. kitchen and living area, bedrooms are spacious. Huge bay windows facing the lake gave us the best views of the lake. We stayed for two nights. We absolutely enjoyed the place.

A big thanks to the host Jen for a seamless boys golf weekend in Invermere. The home is beautiful and in a fantastic location. We particularly enjoyed the 180 degree views off the upper and lower deck of Lake Windermere.

Unique Property on Lake Windemere

Swimming from the dock and the beach was our primary interest - The view from the Holiday House of Lake Windemere and the mountains is spectacular. Lake water temperature was comfortable for swimming. We also hiked and biked on the nearby trails. Enjoyed exploring the attractive Town of Invermere, too!

Incredible lakefront property, perfect for large groups

Absolutely stunning lakefront property- we were 6 adults and lots of kids and this place had everything we could have needed. We brought so much stuff that we didn’t need because they thought of everything. Incredible views from every window, we were in awe for our entire trip and are already making plans for next year. Just to note, there are train tracks to cross to get to the private dock… but it’s safe and easy. Could not recommend this place more!

Amazing

I love this home. From the time of booking through to the end of the stay, the host Jen was very pleasant. The view from the living area/kitchen, deck, and master bedroom is incredible. The layout is great and every detail has been looked after in this new home. I went with a large group of friends for a golf trip, but this place would be perfect for families too. We will definitely be staying here again next year. I highly recommend this home. Thanks Jen!

Amazing Weekend

Our group had a wonderful weekend. The property is truly special, and everyone agreed that this was one of the best vacation rentals we had experienced. Stunning Property

Had relatives in from Holland and took them out to Invermere to stay at the Holiday House. We were amazed from the moment we stepped inside with how beautiful and well appointed the house was. From the beams on the ceiling to the extra large windows and sliding door at the front deck, the house did not disappoint. The house is large yet has a cozy feeling throughout and no expense has been spared. Highlights are numerous including the front deck/living room with unobstructed views of the lake and the mountains in the background. My teenage kids loved their room that had queen size bunk beds in their own area with couches where they lounged and sang karaoke. I would not hesitate to recommend the Holiday House to a family, or two families, who are looking to relax and enjoy the weekend.

Could not have been better

This house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 8 kids. Each couple had their own room and the kids shared the 4-queen bunk beds and play room. The kids room had plenty of space, toys and video games and its very own deck. The view is unmatched with the property looking out on to the lake and mountains. We spent most of our time in the beautiful kitchen, living space and large deck off the front of the house. There’s a hot tub and a couple of fire tables. There was plenty of seating and the kitchen was well-stocked. The owners thought of everything…high chairs, playpen, yoga mats, beach mats, beach towels, books, games, puzzles, lanterns, ear plugs, toiletries. Unlike some owners, Jen and Johnny don’t require you to do a huge tidy before leaving (like stripping all the linens). Communication with the owners was easy, friendly and prompt and they treated us with kindness and respect. The house is new and beyond clean and I hope future guests care for it as much as possible because it’s clear that the owners have put their hearts into building this home. Thank you Jen and Johnny for sharing your home with us.

Elite Level Property Worth Every Penny

The pictures look awesome online ... but they simply do NOT do this property justice. This is a multimillion dollar home with priceless views. Everything about this home is 1st class, and I am a fussy VRBOer. Why do I say this? The cutlery, the plates, the knives, the pots and pans ... WOW. As an avid chef, I usually bring my own. No need! The furnishings are all stunning. The artwork beautiful and perfectly suited. The finishings in the home - from solid wood doors to door hardware to lighting to appliances - everything is first rate. Even the supplied amenities are better than 5-star hotels provide - even luxury toilet paper! I set the high score on the Asteroids game - try to beat it. The layout - we were two families, so the kids LOVED the bunkhouse (sleeps 8, but we had 5 in it) - is so well thought out, I wouldn't have changed a thing. Jen was a super responsive host, but really we didn't need her. The welcome information booklet covered everything. Period. Turn the lights out as you soak in the beautiful hot tub, and see stars like you've never seen before. We'll be back, hopefully in the summer this time, as an incredibly large sliding door will open the entire main floor to the giant deck with built in gas firepit. Wow. Brent L

Every summer for the past 15 years we would make the drive with our two boys from Vancouver to Calgary (and then to Gull Lake). We always stopped in Invermere, and we absolutely fell in love with it. In 2018 we got the opportunity to purchase Lot 9 – our piece of paradise. We started construction in 2021 (mid-COVID) and we completed in 2023. Every item in this home was selected with care.
