Located in one of the most sought after areas in Apollo Bay - between the Fishing harbour and Barham River estuary, and across from the golf course. Alpha Centauri provides the ideal mix of ocean views, walking distance to everywhere, and on a quiet street.
Featuring environmentally considered passive house architectural design by James Goodlet of AlterEco, the house makes the most of the location, views and orientation.
Enter through the glass door and up the timber staircase to the sunlit open plan living, kitchen and dining area.
Windows look out onto the ocean at the Barham river mouth, and to the greenery of the golf club.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine, and features a servery opening onto the patio. This North facing suntrap is the perfect spot for breakfast, afternoon reading or happy hour.
Lay on the lounge looking out on the ocean view, or watching the golfers form. A large screen TV enhances movie nights and series bingeing. The large dining table comfortably seats 8 people. Just off the dining area is the office workspace with desk and ergonomic chair, then a powder room tucked behind it.
Downstairs are the two queen bedrooms with shared central bathroom. The bathroom has a large shower, toilet and vanity.
Alpha Centauri has a well considered, passive house design, double glazed windows, concrete flooring, central heating and cooling system throughout.
Decorated with striking artworks, the house has a modern nostalgia feel.
A washing machine and dryer are available in the garage area. Please note that this garage area is not accessible for parking cars, and is a shared space with the other apartment.
Pets
Pets are welcome on the following conditions and understanding:
There is not a backyard or fenced area for dogs. The top balcony is the only external area accessible. Dogs are not to be left at the house alone.

Couples rate: The 2 person rate is for couples sharing the same bed.
If you are 2 people needing two bedrooms, please select the 3 person rate.
All pricing is based on the amount of guests staying, and beds/bedrooms used. Please ensure you book for the correct amount of guests, and confirm how many beds/bedrooms you will be requiring during your stay, so that we have accurate booking information prior to your arrival.
