Great place to stay

This was a great property with everything we needed for our weekend stay. We were walking distance to sports stadiums and many museums, but overall neighborhood was nice and quite. It is street parking, but we did not have any issues finding parking spaces right by the house when needed. Would definitely recommend this property.

So fabulous!

Love this house! Was a great neighborhood with a fun neighborhood bar :) Easy to walk to and from the stadium and definitely felt safe the whole time. House was very clean, nicely redone and was just what we (3 couples in town for a college football game) needed for the long weekend. Would definitely stay here again if ever visiting Pittsburg again!

Amazing neighborhood & home!

Three adults staying here all had high marks for the home in the Mexican War Streets neighborhood. Walking distance to a charming coffee shop with amazing baked goods, a local Irish pub, a sweet "reading garden" and a huge public park/green space. Just a 10-minute drive to many key must-dos, including the Warhol museum, National Aviary and the downtown Pittsburgh Strip. Would 100% stay here again.

Very nice place. Was perfect location to walk everywhere if you like to walk. The house is very nice and well taken care of. Would definitely stay again if the need irises

The house was just as described and perfect for three couples. Fun neighborhood close to the bird aviary where the wedding was held. And Tom was very responsive and accommodating!!

Top notch in a very cool neighborhood

I can't say it any better than what the listing does, but I can confirm everything is spot on as described. The place was super clean and comfortable, and we were able to easily walk to a Steelers and a Pirates game, enjoy the restaurants and take in the vibe. Would absolutely recommend.

Beautiful Home

We were here with two other couples for a concert. The property was just as described. Nice neighborhood within walking distance to downtown. Easy check-in and great communication. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Pirates games weekend

Excellent location! Loved the park close by. Great coffee shop close by. Took in the bird aviary which we all loved. Rode the incline. Enjoyed the Strip District. Perfect location & size for us!!

Mexican War Street Gem

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this lovely Mexican War Street home. It was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Lots of bathrooms and closet space for our daughters. And the patio off the master bedroom a bonus. Tom could not have been more accomodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Mexican War Streets

The house was very comfortable and clean. The decor was impressive and the location was quiet with a short walk to the National Aviary and Randyland with downtown being a half mile or so farther. A bonus was finding the Monterrey St Pub just down the road! Our host, Tom, was very responsive and pleasant. All in all, a great stay!

Beautiful Home!

The home was perfect walking distance to many different things, 20 minutes to the stadiums! Tom, the host, was amazing at keeping communication and helping with anything we needed. The house was well stocked with everything you need as far as showering, eating, and cleaning. We were so impressed here and hope to stay here any time we are in the area!

Great spot!

We spent four nights here while in town for my son’s baseball tournament. We had a great time and were very happy with the home. In case others have this worry - we were unsure about how difficult it would be to find street parking, but it was no problem at all getting a spot by the home. There was just one night where we could not get a spot, and within 5 minutes a spot opened and we immediately went and moved our vehicle over! The home has everything you could need. Toiletries, hand soaps in each bathroom, Kleenex, hangers, dish soap, nightlights, the list goes on! Everything was very much appreciated! We also went to the pub that was walking distance down the street twice. It was nice having something so good so close! Tom was also great as a host. Very kind and quick to respond.

Incredible location and beautiful home!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is incredible, within walking distance to the National Aviary, Children's Museum, a large park, and great coffee, food, and drinks. The neighborhood also has little parks between the homes that were a treasure to find. The house is in beautiful condition. The bedrooms all have very large walk in closets, which was great for storing our luggage as well as a very quiet and dark room for my toddler to sleep (we provided our own pack and play.) We really appreciated being able to give him his own space! The only thing that kept me from giving this property an enthusiastic five stars was the condition of the backyard. What you see in the listing photos is pretty much exactly what you get - the patio is in need of a good cleaning. Since we spent most of our time away from the house it was not a major issue for us, but it would have been nicer to be able to use that space (or if we could at least find a broom to do our own cleaning). We did have an issue with the internet going out, the host was very communicative and helpful in working with the ISP and got back to us to confirm there was an outage in the area, when service was expected to return, and checking back to make sure it was back online, which we really appreciated. Overall, I do enthusiastically recommend this location and host, thank you for hosting us!

Great weekend in Pittsburgh

Just spent the best weekend in Pittsburgh. Our rental was in the Mexican War district and was amazing. The house was beautiful and completely redone inside. It was very clean and had lots of room for everyone!! We loved the area that was within walking distance to the ballpark and the football stadium. There was a large park right at the end of the street that was great for walking. Didn’t hurt that we had great weather. Tom was very helpful and quick to respond with any questions. We would definitely stay there again
