Clean and comfortable 3BR home in the South Side neighborhood
Located on a quiet street in the historic South Side Slopes, our home offers a comfortable stay while visiting Pittsburgh. Just a short walk away you will find bars, restaurants, shops/boutiques, and even wedding venues. A 10 minute Uber ride to PPG Arena, Acrisure Stadium, PNC Park, Pitt campus, and other attractions. Our 3 BR/2.5 bath home is newly renovated and very clean. There is plenty of space to entertain guests in an open concept layout as well as in the backyard with a fire-pit and lounging chairs.
Exceeded expectations. Beautifully maintained property conveniently located for our visit to Pittsburgh. Quiet neighborhood but close to everything. We look forward to returning!
Very clean and well decorated home. You can tell the owners put a lot into renovating the property. We were there for the US Open at Oakmont. Had tickets for Saturday. Enjoyed dinner at Ritual House on Friday (short UBER ride and reasonable fare) and had food delivered on Saturday after our return. The property was exactly what we needed for our short stay. Checking in and out was very easy! The owner was vey helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend!
This property was perfect for our family (5 adults and a 1 yr old) to stay for Thanksgiving while visiting relatives. It's conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood but is still close to downtown and everywhere else we wanted to go. We had no problem finding parking nearby. It was very clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for us. The property manager was very friendly and told us everything we needed to know. Checking in and out was as easy as could be. We loved it and would definitely stay here again!
Our family of 4 stayed here while visiting our daughter at Pitt. It was a perfect size for us, very clean and all the amenities we needed. Itâs a bit off the beaten track so in terms of location, it depends on where you want to be in Pittsburgh. Parking can be tight but we always found a spot. There are good coffee spots and brunch places nearby. I would recommend to others visiting Pitt, provided they dont feel the need to be super close to campus.
Perfect stay for us! This VRBO has everything you would need. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen stocked quaint backyard space, and great water pressure for the showers. This is a great spot to stay for going to Steelers game or other sporting event. We got an Uber to the city for about $10-$22 depending on time of day. It was easy and lots of fun. House is perfect, comfortable and cozy! Host was available to text for recommendations and quick to respond, very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
We were in town for our daughter's wedding and returning in the evening after those long days was like coming back to your own home. It was clean and welcoming. The communication with the owner was fantastic. I look forward to renting from them again next time we're in Pittsburgh.
The property was just like the pictures. Very clean and a nice layout for hosting a group. Great location for Pittsburgh. The home owner has taken the time to take care of everything you need to have a great stay.
We had a great experience for a weekend visit to see our son at Pitt! Easy access to campus and in the southside area. Very clean property, beds were very comfortable, looked just like pics and we would definitely stay again!!
What a great place to stay in Pittsburgh! We were so impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of this home as well as the quick and ease of contact with the host. We didnât want to leave. The layout was perfect for dining together, playing games or just lounging. And the bedrooms were so cozy and comfortable. We loved the backyard space and the option to have a fire and relax outside. Weâll definitely be back!
We had a great stay this past weekend. Justine was an excellent communicator and was flexible with our timing. The house was extremely clean with a nice layout for a group. She left a small basket in the bathrooms with toiletries which was a nice touch. We got to celebrate a big Pitt win in a wonderful house
The property was just as the pictures. Nicest property on the block actually. The home owner has taken their time and thought of every little detailed. We would be excited to come again outside of football season and contact Justine.
We had a great stay at Justine's wonderful property. It was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We appreciated the water in the fridge, the coffee and creamers, bathroom supplies (like little shampoos) and plenty of paper goods. I'm usually not a fan of super soft beds, but I found these to be super cozy and comfortable. Linens were soft and cozy, too.
We were there for a wedding, but also had to work remotely, and the desk in one of the bedrooms was perfect.
We loved the location, too. We walked to Southside Works for lunch and took advantage of the walking trails to get in some steps. If you want a workout, take the stairs at the dead-end end of the street!
Parking has been mentioned in other reviews. Yes, it's a little tight, but we didn't find it to be a problem. Regardless of the time we came in, there were spots to be had.
If we return to this area of Pittsburgh, I'd gladly stay here again.
Beautiful home, immaculate, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Iâve stayed in a lot of VRBO propertiesâŠthis one had the crispest, whitest sheets and towels ever. Mattresses were high quality and thick fluffly pillows were very comfy too. Felt like relaxing in a spa. Owner left coffee, tea, water and Gatorade for us. Nice backyard fireplace with furniture. We didnât use thisâŠtoo exhausted after sightseeing. Only downside was locationâŠtiny, narrow street, dead end, with no off street parking. Cars were parked both sides, no place to turn around, we had to back our vehicle out to the cross street. That being said, definitely stay here, because the gorgeous house made up for the parking issue. We would stay there again! Loved it!
Hi, I'm Justine! Born and raised in Pittsburgh. I've always had a special place in my heart for our steel city. My husband and I met years ago in the South Side and the rest is history! We have three beautiful children who keep us busy every single day!
