Our family stayed in this gem, right on the water of beautiful Blue Mountain Lake. The adults had their our bedrooms . My granddaughter loved her den. Our grandsons loved their bunk beds.
Every room had a view of the mountains and lake.
The master bedroom is gorgeous.
The kids had a small sandy beach to play and build sand castles. We had brought our kayaks, floats, and an inflatable stand up paddle board. So we had plenty to fun. The public beach is just up the road, walking distance which was very enjoyable.
My son, a chef, was very pleased with the cookware and made us delicious meals.
My DIL really appreciated the washer and dryer with having 2 young boys.
Definitely plan to return again when in the area.
Josh was very attentive when an issue came up.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin that is right on Blue Mountain Lake. The house is beautiful, the furnishings are more than adequate and the host is right on the ball. If we are back in the area, it will be the first place we look at.
We had a great time together. The house was supplied well and the lake was beautiful. However, I was very surprised upon arrival that the house was located behind a very large abandoned store. There was very little land around the house and it was hard getting into the lake. I also wish we had been informed about a sewer spill that had occurred just days before our arrival. My grandsons had already jumped in the lake before a neighbor told us about it. I was horrified.
I cooked nearly every night and the kitchen was well equipped but the table had only 5 usable chairs. One was missing its bottom. We were a party of 8. There were no occasional chairs anywhere in the house and the living room only had a small sectional sofa that was shedding its faux leather all over your butt, legs, and house. The lighting was very inadequate also. There was no place to gather when it rained or anyplace to sit and just read a book. It needs more seating, lamps, coffee table etc to complete the house. Also, if its renting for up to 9 guest it should have 9 seats available at table. Or at least in the living area.
The parking was a little difficult for 3 cars.
The property is located near town, about 3 lots down to public park and swimming area and about 3 down on the other side to the boat livery.
I titled this "Pictures misleading" because it showed a lot of pretty ceilings but not the house.
