I would definitely recommend staying here, great view and atmosphere. The resort was very family oriented and quiet. I cannot wait to visit north Myrtle beach next year I would definitely stay at this place or resort again. Thanks for making our stay great!!!

Perfect vacation spot!

Our 1st time to Myrtle Beach. This condo was perfect for us! A short walk to the beach. Not too far from Murrell's Inlet, Broadway on the Beach & many other places. I would highly recommend Ocean Creek. We plan to rent this unit again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Creek Plantation. The gated community added security and curtesy at its finest. The room was clean, comfortable and accommodating. Our family had a splendid time and the view was spectacular.

Great Vacation

This was our first time in this unit and it was great : excellent location, great views of the ocean, very clean, and well/nicely decorated !! Management responded quickly to a minor issue - which was fabulous!! Overall we were very happy with the weeklong getaway and would highly recommend it to others !!!!

Love Ocean Creek Resort

Not our first visit to Ocean Creek but our first time in the North Tower. Had a great weather week. Only issue was the AC stopped working but the mgt co had a repairman out within 2 hours of our alerting them (at 9:30 pm) Very prompt response and we stayed cool the rest of the week!! Love this resort and the beach area. Not as crowded as the areas north of us.

Nice condo, poor house cleaning

Condo itself was very nice. Beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious. Loved all the room in master bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. Cons, the condo was dirty. Used bandaid behind door, dead bugs behind the doors, dirt under couch that you could see when couch was reclined, empty chip bags under the bed. I’d recommend hiring another cleaning crew as that really had an impact on how I rated this condo.

A quick text to the 843 number provided would have resulted in the cleaning supervisor coming over and fixing their mistakes while you were out enjoying your vacation. Loved the unit and, in particular it's location. However, housekeeping failed to appropriately clean the unit, change the bedding and provide clean towels. In addition, for the price of this unit one would expect to have a refrigerator with an automatic ice maker, this unit does not.

Nice unit. Very good ocean view. Not stocked well at all. No coffee or essentials. Had to buy toilet paper. Just your basic dishes and thats all.Dishwasher didnt work but was scheculed to be repaired. Had to evacuate the unit our last night due to a lightening strike. Everyone had to report to the lobby. We were able to return 30 minutes later. Overall a nice unit.

Great week at the beach.

My family loved the week at the beach. The property was just what we needed for our 2 year old. On the balcony the ceiling above it was painted which showed badly in the homes pictures. Take another picture and replace the picture showing. Palmetto bug in bedroom gave us a scare. Coffee pods would have been welcome. Light that is left on 24 hours a day comes through the bedroom window and needs addressed if possible. Blind change?

Enjoyable stay.

We enjoy Ocean Creek Resort and this is at least our 4th time visiting the north tower. This unit was clean and spacious. It was as described and pictured with the exception of the master bath and it has been renovated and is even better than pictured!!This unit is managed by a company called trips which was different than my past VRBO experiences so be sure to check your email as the final payment is directly to them through the email, not VRBO so you don’t get the usual reminders. Vrbo was great though to confirm the company was legitimate before I made payment. We did have a few maintenance issues but my texts re: issues were replied to promptly and issues addressed. I would also recommend that the mattresses and bed linens be upgraded. While they were clean, the sheets were balled and cheap and the beds/mattresses were noisy and not very comfortable. However, it was excellent for the value and I would definitely consider in the future!

Unit needed several repairs

Dishwasher was broken upon arrival, standing stinky water inside it... not fixed while we were there. Had to handwash all dishes used for our entire stay. Master bath sinks wouldnt drain, fixed while we were there. Several master bedroom electrical socket plugs didnt work. Had to hunt to plug in stuff.

As we did at the time you reported it, we again apologize for the sink and dishwasher issues. They didn't occur for the previous guests or we would have definitely fixed them before your arrival. Having said that, we're happy that our team was ready to fix those items! Thanks for staying with us-

The unit and the property were great. The check in process however not good. We were told we could not access the property until 4pm. Understand the unit may not be ready and we would need to wait to go in, but we just wanted to use the pool and beach while we waited. We were told no… until I checked the availability and realized no one was even checking out that day and it was already cleaned. I asked if I could check in early around 12, they allowed 1:30. Unsure why since it was empty. Also the dryer was broken. Notified the property management on Monday and it was never fixed during my week long stay. Overall great experience and loved the unit, but the property management not so good.
