Surprise how clean the house was and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the lake, watching the ducks swans and cranes in the water. It’s a very calm and relaxing place. My family and I really enjoyed this place and hope to rent it again.The house was very pleasant to talk with.

Great place to stay for all Baton Rouge area activities. 20 to 30 minutes without much traffic. House clean and it was nice having coffee and watching the ducks on the lake from back poarch. Host was excellent and answered my email within 10 minutes. Nice area to stay within 5 minutes to Walmart and fast food to nice restaurants. We would stay there again.

Great place/location

Went with some friends to a bowling tournament. Location was great and very peaceful. House was large enough for the 6 of us with room to spare. House had all the amenities that were needed plus much more. If we wouldnt havw been so bisy with tournament atuff we would have been able to partake in mosre of the extras the house had.

Family of 4 stay

Overall great stay. Only problem I had was the master bedroom mattress was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever laid on. We ended up moving into one of the front bedrooms towards the end. But clean nice property with room to stretch out!

Great experience

This was our first time in Louisiana and this house was in the perfect location. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. The home itself was beautiful and comfortable for our stay. It provided all the main essentials which made it feel like home. We highly recommend this home for your family vacation. We just loved the view of pond from the backyard!!! When we come back in the near future we will definitely be on the lookout for this home!

Enjoyable stay

We were a family traveling from Georgia and my mom picked Louisiana as a place to visit for her birthday with immediate family members. We found this beautiful home as our place to stay. The guest host was very easy to communicate with and always responsive. Everything was exactly as it was pictured and we felt at home. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. If I ever come back to Denham Springs. I would most definitely book this house again. Thank you all so much. We really enjoyed our stay

Not Happy

Temps were in the 30's. House had no source of heat. Trash can was overflowing with no pickup for 3 days. Open foodstuffs in ref/freezer and pantry Manager had trash removed next day. Not enough supplies for 5, trash bags, toilet paper, and not enough towels and wash clothes, had to do laundry every other day.

Diana, The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:Owner's response: "Diana, we try and provide a 5-star experience for all our guests, we're sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations. - We are located in the extreme south and most of the homes here do not have heaters because they are not needed. If you had closed the windows at night that would have helped to keep the home warmer. - The trash is picked up every Wednesday, most of our guests book through the weekend, and don't need to worry about this but on occasion, we have guests here during the week and we ask that the trash be taken to the curb. We do have those who are willing to help and then we have those that are not. However, we did get the trash to the curb and it got taken care of. - We have items that are left behind from guests and if the packages are sealed and never opened we do not waste food and leave them in case someone else wants to use them. You did remove a lot of those items and threw away a lot of unopened items. We're sorry for the inconvenience. - We provide our guests with the basics of all of the items you mentioned if you needed more you could have let us know. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."
