The home was very pleasant and had 3 nice bedrooms. Big back yard if you have animals or young ones so they can play. Host responds to messages and will recommend places to eat. We were here for the USBC bowling tournament at the Raising Caines convention center and there were many places nearby to eat and explore. Would definitely recommend fur your family vacation.
Amazing place to stay. It was just the two of us so we stayed in the bedroom right next to the full bathroom although there was a 1/2 bath in the bedroom which was convenient. The bed was so comfy. Big yard for the dogs to play. Neighborhood was great!
We came down for the USBC bowling event at the Raising Cane center. The house seemed roughly 10-20 mins from everything (wasn't terrible as it gave you ability to pass a lot of local restaurants). The house doesn't seem to be in a great part of town, however once on the street we had no issues and it was pretty quiet. The home is older and has some pretty basic cosmetic updates. A lot of the doors didn't actually fit the door frames and outlets were limited in places. Overall this property was adequate for what we needed and for the cost.
The booking, communication with host, checking in and check out was a breeze! She was very clear on how to do things and available if needed with questions. A few things I liked about the place was the inside was clean and had beautiful furniture, nice comfortable beds, bring extra pillows if you like pillows or more firm of pillows. Also bring hangers for clothes, there was only 5 or so in each bedroom. There was a big smart tv in every bedroom and living room which was great. The location of the house doesnât seem to be in the nicest of neighborhoods, but having to drive around the city of Baton Rouge a lot the last few days, that seems to be a common thing. The street was quiet, neighbors seemed to mind their own and overall at no point did I feel unsafe or anything of where I was at.Strong smell of moth balls as well, air fresheners needed! For the price, the quick communication with the host and being right off a main road that took us right downtown within 20 minutes, I would still give a recommendation of staying here and I would stay here again.
