OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
This is outdoor living at its best, with patio space that wraps around nearly every room in the house. Step out of any of the sliding doors in the living room or bedrooms and you’ll find everything from bright green turf and a fun cornhole set to an outdoor shower and an elegant in-ground fire pit surrounded by modern and comfortable upholstered furniture under the cool shade of a canopy.

Behind this is the refreshing pool and spa as well as ample deck space for lounging, is a cooking and dining area that’s ready for your next dinner or cocktail hour. Grill out in the BBQ area with bar seating and eat al fresco at the shaded patio table with its cool retro umbrella and room for 8.

INDOOR LIVING SPACES
Artistry abounds in High On Design, where you’ll find high design touches around every corner. The modern living room offers a bright view of the secluded backyard, plenty of comfortable seating, a gas fireplace, and a flat-screen TV that’s perfect for movie night. Prepare your favorite meals in the open kitchen with double ovens, high-end stainless steel appliances, and gas cooktop. This is a lovely spot to mix up a cocktail (thanks to the convenient bar) or relax with your morning coffee.

Dine under a statement Sputnik chandelier at the modern dining set with seating for 8. This area also has a small private patio, so you can take in the breeze even while eating indoors.

Vying for most unique space in this statement property is the garage, just off the kitchen, which has been converted into an outrageously fun blacklight–yes, glow-in-the-dark blacklight–games room, complete with custom space-themed artwork that will launch you into your very own space odyssey. Even the paddles glow!

SLEEPING QUARTERS
It may be hard to stop making social media posts and go to bed when sleeping in one of High On Design’s four themed bedrooms. Every bedroom has sliding door access to the sprawling patio and blackout shades!

The primary suite, dubbed the Blue Room for its blue decor, is perfect for the Picassos, Joni Mitchells, or Blue Man Group members in your party is designed with blue, pop-art decor and furniture and a flat-screen TV, a King sized bed, and has its own ensuite with double vanity and walk-in shower/bath.

The Orange Room, with its bright mural and slightly 70s vibe shares a jack-and-jill bath with The Green Room, whose decor is midcentury with Jazz Age flourishes. Both rooms contain King sized beds.

Save the casita, or “2D Room,” for those in your group who’d most like to wake up in a cartoon. Containing a Queen sized bed, this space is a trompe l’oeil from top-to-bottom. It is completely black-and-white and looks as though it’s been ripped from the pages of a sketchbook. Everything from the fan to the wainscoting has been carefully designed to appear two-dimensional. This room has its own ensuite (and, yes, it’s “2D,” too).

THE LOCATION
Tucked into a quiet corner lot in the diverse and eclectic Warm Sands neighborhood, much-loved by artists and celebrities, High On Design is surrounded by boutique hotels, retro-chic art galleries, and vintage furniture shops. Historic Palm Canyon Drive, home to Palm Springs’ best shopping, dining, clubs, and people-watching, is less than a mile from your door and accessible by foot, bike, or car. High on Design is just a 1.6 mile walk to Chabad as well.
