Beautiful and comfortable apartment within easy walking distance to the central part of town. The host was super friendly and very easy to communicate with. Would stay again!
House is an interesting conversion in a historical part of Thames. We enjoyed local walks as well as exploring further. Chris is a great host who made us feel very welcome.
Chris was the perfect host and his batch has everything you need, comfortable, quiet and with sun pouring in for breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Chris was an excellent host and the property was exceptionally tidy, modern and well catered for. Our two girls had a great time walking with Dingo and Chris and it was lovely of him to offer. We would recommend this place to anyone and will absolutely be returning! Thanks again and we will be back :-)
I am NZ born from a little district named Galatea. I have lived in Thames for the three years I have spent renovating this property that I hope you will enjoy staying in. I live in the front part of this old dairy as a separate residence. My part of the building is set up to make furniture. My career has spanned teaching, working in the melters of a steel mill, representing workers, facilitating educational courses on line and face to face .....
When I purchased this property it was as ugly as!! I saw the potential to change a white, leaky cement board building into a modern workshop/living space for me and Dingo my red heeler mate. It had the height I needed to throw timber around and was close to all of the amenities I liked - bike trails, the sea, walking, history etc. I have been able to set up a wonderful space for visitors to enjoy.
Proximity to great beaches on this coast and over the ranges to the east coast a short drive away. Great walking and biking tracks so close by. The climate is pleasant, sometimes a little wet :).
