Welcome to a peaceful studio retreat in Richmond Hill’s historic Mill Pond neighbourhood.

This bright, elegant space features a thoughtfully designed interior with large windows, comfortable seating, and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Enjoy your outdoor patio overlooking a landscaped backyard and pool. Take a short stroll to the scenic trails and natural beauty of historic Mill Pond Park.

Whether visiting family, working remotely, or simply enjoying a quiet getaway, you’ll find a relaxing and welcoming space to call home.

The space:

Comfortably furnished with a new queen size Tempur-pedic bed, large leather sectional couch, smart 55" Samsung Frame TV with Netflix, lots of windows and blinds. A good size table allows for dining and workspace, Wifi high-speed internet, mirrored closet with hangers and clothes storage, luggage rack. Premium allergen protective pillow covers and linens are used to ensure you have a great night's sleep!

Kitchenette:

The kitchenette includes a toaster oven, microwave, compact fridge, and Keurig coffee maker for coffee or tea. Essentials such as dishes, cutlery, and disposable options are provided. Coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, and filtered water are included.

Bathroom:

The spacious bathroom features a walk-in porcelain shower with bench, comfort-height toilet, vanity sink, built-in shelving, hotel-quality towels, and toiletries.

The Patio:

Step outside to your sun-kissed patio area, surrounded with flowers and greenery—the perfect place to relax, dine, or unwind. Enjoy views of the landscaped garden and pool.

Please note: the pool is for viewing only and is not available for swimming.

Parking:
One dedicated parking space is included.

Guest access:

Entry is via the backyard through a secure Yale keypad lock. Check-in instructions will be provided prior to arrival.

Other things to note:

Excellent location between Bathurst Street and Yonge Street, close to Major Mackenzie. Within walking distance to transit, restaurants, cafés, and pubs. Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill Hospital is just a few minutes away.

This studio has been thoughtfully prepared to offer a warm, elegant, and peaceful stay.

Please note: this suite is not suitable for children or infants due to an ungated pool. Due to a severe allergy and approved exemption, we are unable to accommodate animals, including service animals.

I had a wonderful stay at Melanie's place. It's clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into creating a comfortable space and it felt welcoming from the moment I arrived.The apartment is beautifully furnished with a comfy mattress, quality furniture, and stylish decor. The Frame TV with Netflix was a nice touch, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. I usually test internet speeds before work calls and it consistently came in between 300–530 Mbps.One of my favourite parts was the new patio overlooking the pool and backyard. I had my morning coffee outside and ate dinner there several evenings. It was really peaceful and a great place to relax.The property is surrounded by tall trees and is just a short walk to Mill Pond, where there's a beautiful forested trail around the pond.Melanie was awesome. She was friendly, responsive, and attentive whenever needed.I hope to stay here again someday and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay.

I chose the Mill Pond neighbourhood because of its natural beauty, rich history, and the memories it holds for me. When my children were young, I often brought them here for outings, and those days remain some of my happiest. There is a peaceful, timeless quality to this neighbourhood that always made me feel at home, and when the opportunity came to live here, I knew it was where I wanted to be. I hope my guests experience that same sense of home.

This studio was thoughtfully designed to be elegant and comfortable, with quality finishes and a private entrance for easy coming and going. A standout feature of the property is the large multi-level deck overlooking a peaceful backyard. The studio includes its own designated patio with a table, umbrella, and chairs for guest use. The backyard is shared, and I may occasionally be outside tending the garden or enjoying my own deck. Guests often appreciate the relaxed, natural atmosphere and the sense of space, greenery, and openness throughout the property.
