Cette maison est située dans un cadre très spécial. La plupart des maisons de vacances dans la rue sont situées loin de la rivière. Cette maison est plus proche encore plus haut qui permet peut-être les meilleures vues de toute maison de vacances à Scottsburg. Vous pouvez pêcher directement à partir de notre atterrissage au bas de l'escalier ou accéder à la rivière depuis le bas des marches à marée basse.

La maison a 3 chambres très spacieuses lit king size en maître qui est en bas de la 2ème chambre à l'étage a deux lits queen et la troisième chambre avec vue sur la rivière a un lit king avec un plus petit canapé-lit gigogne.

Home a planchers de bois franc dans la plupart des régions avec des comptoirs en granit, grande cuisine avec toutes les commodités modernes.

Accueil a Internet Wi-Fi, lecteur DVD avec bibliothèque de films DVD dans le salon.

Home a une salle de jeux insonorisée avec réglage table de ping pong pour le divertissement supplémentaire.

Accueil est accessible aux personnes handicapées avec une grande rampe couverte latérale vous permet d'entrer porte côté de la maison et salle de bains en bas a une douche handicap.

Les meilleures vues sont dans la salle à manger, salle familiale, salle de jeux et de la 3ème chambre à l'étage qui fait face à la rivière. L'étage de la maison a une sensation rétro années 60 avec tous les boiseries avec cette sensation de cabine originale.

La propriété est très grande. Il a une grande allée pavée plate avec des zones pour garer jusqu'à 6 voitures ou camions et une pièce sur la zone herbeuse à côté du garage pour la remorque ou le bateau ou?

Nous n'avons pas de quai mais nous avons un magnifique escalier qui vous emmène directement à la rivière. Notre section de la rivière est plus peu profonde, ce qui est idéal pour nager et patauger. La partie profonde de la rivière se trouve de l'autre côté de la rivière près de l'autoroute 38.

Location de kayak disponible à 75, 00 pour 3 personnes pour la totalité du séjour. Deux personnes sont nécessaires pour les transporter dans la rivière. Oui, nous avons des gilets de sauvetage standard. Veuillez demander la location de kayak et nous vous facturerons rapidement. Nice little getaway

Thank you for the nice stay! We lucked out and the sun came out for a while. The family loved the ping pong and fishing. There was plenty of room for all of us and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and utensils. There is some really beautiful antique furniture too.

Umpqua House

The house is on the water, beautiful setting. There is a washer and dryer available, which was great. The house was well appointed, plenty of serving plates and bowls! Our family had a nice stay!

Christmas Getaway

Myself and 8 other family members enjoyed our Christmas weekend at this rental. You can tell this house has been taken care of. It was very clean, very spacious and perfect for a family t9 get to gether in. We would love to go back in the summer!

Interstate family reunion.

Everyone had a blast. Many of us braved the weather for a kayak trip on the Umpqua River, departing from the dock in the back yard. Lots of ping pong in the game room. The neighbors dog was super friendly with ours. Thanksgiving dinner with all hands on deck was fun. Wonderful reunion!

Comfy Cozy River House

This was our second time staying in this home. It's perfect for a family of five to stay at near the river. Cozy, beautiful home! I will say...I wish others that stay, would care more for the home than they would their own! The first time we stayed things were much cleaner! Whoever stayed before us this time left several dishes with food particles still on them and/or film on the silverware and broke the garbage disposal. May I suggest to those visiting in the future...clean up after yourself! We left some ping pong balls to contribute to the home we spent a wonderful time at together. :) Thank you to the owners for letting us rent your home! Happy Holidays!

Birthday Getaway with Friends

We enjoyed this home and it worked great for our 2 families. The views of the river every day were wonderful and we enjoyed exploring the area. We spent 1 morning in Elkton and the next morning we went to Loon Lake and hiked to the waterfall. Both places were about a 20 min drive. Our only complaint was we didn’t like the taste of the water from the tap so we had to go buy drinking water. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The Scottsburg river house

We had a great time! The river was nice to swim in and the kayaks were a lot of fun too. The house is beautiful and clean and we were all comfortable and enjoyed ourselves.

Lovely home and beautiful scenery from the deck

This property was perfect for us. A beautiful country home on the Umpqua River. It was very relaxing and the views were amazing. The property owner was very informative and told us about this wonderful area and gave us suggestions for restaurants sites to see etc. we were only a few miles from near by cities and ocean. Also there is an elk refuge nearby and we saw lots of elk and Canadian geese. We definitely would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Vince for letting us stay at your spectacular home. River fun

We had a wonderful time. House and location great. Two items need work or clarification. The dishwasher was broken. That was a disappointment, when it was described to be working. Also it says AC. It works great downstairs. Upstairs not as much. Room darkening curtains and better venting the portable units would help. We will be back, very accommodating and nice house.

Great quiet house on the river!

We had a fantastic time and this house is even better in person. The big windows and comfy furniture for everyone, and the game room is perfect for entertaining the whole family. We thought the beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked and it’s very quiet small road. Relax and enjoy!

3 fun-filled days on the Umpqua

Loved this VRBO! If anything, even nicer than described. We celebrated my daughter's birthday with her family. The fishing for smallmouth bass was amazing. My son-in-law and I caught an estimated 70 fish in one day. My daughter and granddaughter enjoyed paddle boarding the river. We got to see otters frolicking and plenty of wildlife. The house couldn't have been more comfortable and ideal for our group. Hope circumstances enable a return trip in the future.

Great Family River House

My husband and I took my daughter, 29 yrs old with Multiple Sclerosis, and her two young children (6 and 9), along with my 71 year old dad (who has blood cancer) to this spot to get away and spend some time together. My dad loves to fish and enjoyed going down the steps to the end deck to throw out a line once in a while. Unfortunately, he couldn't walk around on the rocks and mud so he had limited area to fish. (he still had a wonderful time) My husband caught two small fish. Not enough to keep :) We had a good time swimming in the river and this place was perfect for it! It was warm and had a good amount of shallow areas for the little ones. The home was very comfortable and clean. We played ping pong and relaxed on the deck. We would love to go again! :)

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed the fishing although got no bites. The house was immaculate, very clean and organized. We really enjoyed playing cards and games there at the big dining table. The bbq was small but worked for us well. The beds are very comfy and the shower pressure and kind of shower was very nice. Thank you for having us.

A Great Place

The venue was perfect for our party that consisted of 6 adults, a 3 1/2-year-old tornado, and 2 small dogs. The layout if great for insulating (but not isolating) TV watchers from board gamers from ping pongers. The amenities are complete with every large and small appliance anyone could want. For "big town" atmosphere, Reedsport is a mere 20 minute drive away. It's a great place that I'd recommend to anyone.

Great Weekend Stay

The property is great - kids fished all day on Saturday and caught 3 bass! Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of extra blankets, pillow towels. We really needed for nothing while here. The only downside was that the water was pretty horrible tasting, and left a residue when washing dishes as well. We ended up going to the store to buy water and ice. Overall, the house is old, but it is well kept and a great place for a family getaway!

We Had a Great Family Time!

Everyone in our party (7 people) really enjoyed the home! It was very cozy and comfortable. Plenty of room for people to spread out. I loved the different sitting areas where people could do their own thing, from reading and playing games, to TV watching, to eating and visiting, playing games (ping pong and bean bags). The view from the dining area was AMAZING, so peaceful and serene! The location was great for us, it was away from town (we like that) but only 17 miles from restaurants and things to do. Overall, we loved vacationing here and we are already hoping we can come back!

My wife and I and 11 year old son love the outdoors and our favorite spot in Oregon is this location.

Very rare setting ultimate fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking and very spacious location . A real must see !!!!

Very close to river, large yard tons of parking and each room of the home is extremely large with forced heat in air on the main floor, whats else could anyone ask for oh yes we have cable tv and wifi and fast internet also.
