"On the Beach" is located in the centre of Mona Vales famous Basin Beach, the 6th most beautiful beach in the world according to Condé Nast Travel Magazine (March 2024).

“On the Beach” boasts breathtaking point-blank water views and private direct beach access to Sydney’s spectacular and less known about Basin Beach. The sand and surf are at your feet, along with two ocean pools, one of which is for adults alongside a children’s pool for the very young. During winter months you may spot the many whales making their way up or down the coast, or a pod of dolphins from the comfort of the living room or balcony as you relax.

The apartment is fully renovated to be your personal beach haven, with quality furniture, home comforts, and the mesmerising views and ambient sound of waves breaking on the shore. It has 2 bedrooms, a queen bedroom with balcony, beach and headland views and a further bedroom with a king single bunk bed.
“On the Beach” is all yours, with its front lawn and garden shared by our wonderful neighbours. The beach is one of the quietest in Sydney, a well-kept secret visited by mostly locals.
While we also love your pets, sadly we can’t have them stay.
We do have a small smart TV if you want to watch your favourite Netflix movie.
We want your stay to be as hassle-free as possible, so we provide all linen and towels, organic Suzun Bennet skin care products, bathroom toiletries, and beach-related goodies like sunblock.

The kitchen is fitted out with Siemens induction benchtop and oven and Fisher & Paykel fridge and a microwave. We also provide salt and pepper, oil, vinegar, coffee Nespresso machine and pods and teas.

The new Mona Vale Surf Life Saving club within 5 minutes walk is home to a great coffee shop for breakfast and lunch until 2:30PM each day as wells the famed BasinBasin Dining Room Restaurant. Another few minutes walk is the iconic Armchair Restaurant also open until 2:30pm daily.
To keep the apartment clean and our neighbours happy, we don’t allow for parties or for smoking in the apartment, balcony and all common areas.
For those interested bush walking, a trail leads form Basin Beach to the headland overlooking Bungan Beach to the north which joins trails to Avalon and further to Palm Beach. Southern walking trails extend to Manly and the City from Mona Vale’s Basin Beach.
Less than 3 minutes walk – the latest coffee shop in the new Surf Life Saving Club, also home to Basin Seafood Restaurant with its famed chefs and owners.
