Cozy 2 bd house nestled on a mountain side close to WP Ski Resort and MT Rainier
Welcome to the "Randle House" built in 1931. Located on 3 private acres, bordered by forest service land. Hunting and hiking right out your back door. Let the surrounding mountains pull you away from this cozy spot for a day of skiing, snowshoeing and fishing, or sit by the fire and enjoy the views. White Pass Ski Resort 40 mins away, Cowlitz River access 10 mins away and Mt. Rainier an hour drive depending on the route. The small town of Packwood is 15 mins away.
Such a great spot. Way closure to Packwood than I thought. Cute remodeled home, super cozy, very clean, and a total bargain for the price. Host was really nice and easy to work with. Definitely would love to go back!!!
Very reasonably priced. Located in a rural neighborhood, this house is nothing too fancy but with all you need for everyday living. Sofas and bed were comfortable. Itâs clean enough. The water pressure seems on the low side, so it takes awhile for hot water to show up, but really very functional overall.I will check the availability of this VRBO first next time I need to stay in the area..
We were looking for a home to stay in near White Pass and this hit the spot. Far enough downhill to not have to worry about snow but close enough to be very convenient. Would recommend.
We booked for 8 but there was one less bed than the pictures showed leaving one person to sleep on the couch in the living room. It took a few hours for the house to warm up as the heat was off when we arrived and its baseboard heat so slow to warm up and it was cold. It's nice and quite there but the driveway was difficult to turn around in. Overall good stay for the price.
My husband and his cousin and I traveled to Washington from Michigan for a week, we decided to stay at the Randle house, tucked away in the mountains for a peaceful getaway. The property was stunning! The house was very clean with the exception of the tub which was an easy fix with the cleaning supplies provided. Warm and cozy home with plenty of blankets, linens, and entertainment! The host, David, was very quick to respond to any concerns we had (I mean he messages back within 5 minutes anytime I reached out!), and he was very polite! Location was PERFECT! We wanted to hike Rainier while we were in Washington, and the national park was an hour drive for the south side of the mountain (this is quite impressive if youâre not looking to spend hundreds at a lodge within the park). All in all, this was a wonderful stay, and we would absolutely stay here again if we choose to return to Washington!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Davidâs lovely mountain house! There was plenty of room for the 5 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner each night also. The grocery store was pretty close and they had just about everything you could need. The hiking was so accessible! Lots of great places nearby and right btw Rainier and St Helenâs. What a perfect spot! Layser cave and Ohanapecosh are two great places to check out. Thereâs an ice cream shop about 5 mins away on the right and they make sandwiches! The cows and mountains for a backdrop made for very scenic evening walks. We will definitely come again. Thank you for your prompt replies David!
Ceiling in bathroom full of dead flies. Bath tub full of dirt and long black hair wouldnt drain. Bed was broken half was off of the frame. No tv or internet working. No service on any phone to get a hold of owner . Broken lazy susan with flies all over it where pots and pans were.
We so enjoyed our time here and plan on coming back again and again! David was an amazing host and was very easy to get ahold of! The price was perfect and just the right amount of space for our family of 6 as well as my brother-in-law! The scenery and surroundings are goregeous! Thank you again!
