Concept ouvert salon, salle, cuisine, ce gîte entièrement équipée possède tout le confort de la maison, y compris lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, four grille-pain et four auto-nettoyant. Profitez de votre café du matin des chaises Adirondack donnant sur le quai et le lac ou les prendre pour aller dans l'un des 3 kayaks.

A l'intérieur, une télévision à écran plat et d'une vaste bibliothèque de DVD fournira une foule de divertissements ou détendez-vous sur le canapé confortable devant le poêle à bois confortable sur les soirées fraîches. Le chalet peut accueillir jusqu'à 8, avec 2 reines, un seul méridienne qui sort à un double et un futon qui convertit également en double. De plus, si vous êtes aventureux, il y a un loft avec un autre lit double.

Profitez de l'occasion pour profiter de votre temps dans le projeté en belvédère, un endroit idéal pour profiter de votre repas ou un après le dîner boire loin de bogues et des intempéries.

Le chalet est situé à 60 km de Bancroft ou de Madoc sur une route goudronnée toute l’année et à proximité d’excellents sentiers de VTT et de motoneige. Il est un grand lac, à environ 11 miles de long permettant des heures d'exploration, le canotage et la pêche. Il est bien connu pour les grands et achigan à petite bouche ainsi que le lac de pêche à la truite. Il y a un accès à d'autres lacs qui ont également la truite et le brochet pêche. Nous sommes situés à distance de marche de 2 ports de plaisance - Quatre huards et Weslemkoon. Le chalet est situé sur une partie peu profonde et calme du lac avec très peu de circulation de bateaux. Vous pouvez nager cependant le fond est mou et c'est un peu de mauvaise herbe.

Hidden Little Gem

Warm and inviting. You feel right at home the second you walk through the door. The pictures really do not do it justice! Host was extremely lovely to deal with, easy to message, and provided us with all the information we needed to make our stay an enjoyable one. We will definitely book this place again.

Lovely cottage exactly as listed

Lovely cottage exactly as listed, very clean, very modern. The property is quite spacious with ample privacy at a quiet end of the lake. We used the kayaks, the BBQ, the fire pit or just relaxed and waved at passing boaters.

Amazing Spot.

The pictures do not do the place justice. its great and there is plenty of room. Host is amazing as well. This is the first time we are considering going back to one of the cottages we have rented. 100% recommend.

Relaxing Getaway!

We were very pleased with the whole process of booking through VRBO right down to the accuracy of accommodation descriptions. The check in and out was seamless and the rental was immaculate and beautifully quaint. We were able to relax and unwind in this spot, do some rock hounding nearby and enjoy nights by the fire pit roasting marshmallows. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again!

Waterfront cottage

Excellent facilities and well equipped. Good time in rain and shine. Rented a boat nearby to explore the lake. Nice fire pit, horseshoe pitch, screened gazebo, barbeque and kitchen...we used all.

Fun time at the cottage!

Our stay was great. The cottage had all the amenities: cable, internet, gorgeous patio with lake views. Our family went and enjoyed the kayaks and tons of space, like the loft. The puzzles were a nice touch too.

We were very impressed with the cottage, the cleanliness of the cottage and the property as a whole. Cheryl was wonderful to communicate with and provided everything needed for us to enjoy our stay. Would highly recommend to others. *For those bringing boats I would encourage you to use Four Loons Marina as your launch site. Friendlier people and cheaper than Weslemkoon Marina as well as map provided if needed. Thank you so much Cheryl for your hospitality and having us. We hope to be back!

Your piece of paradise!

We enjoyed a memorable family week at this beautiful cottage. It was clean, comfortable, inviting and well equipped! The kayaks horseshoes, gazebo, fire pit, lakeside furniture, and gorgeous sunroom were all well appreciated. The children absolutely loved the loft! We rented a jet ski to tour the lake and had fun pulling the kids on a knee board/wake board and on an inflatable hot dog! We certainly understand why you call it your piece of paradise. This was one of the best cottages that our family has rented to date. Kind regards!

A Wonderful Stay!

Our 3-night stay was perfectly relaxing. We loved lounging by the woodstove on the comfy couches with books and movies, playing board games in the sunroom with the beautiful views and walking on the quiet roads nearby. Our teens thought the loft was a great space. The cottage is beautiful and comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Cheryl gave great instructions and info and we appreciated all the details. Thank you for the lovely little get-away!

Restful holiday

My family of 8 stayed here Canada day weekend. The photos of this cottage do not do it justice, cottage and property are stunning. The place was meticulously cleaned. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces, it was ideal for our dogs as it is a good distance from the road. We had a lot of fun exploring the lake and waterfall with the kayaks! We have been renting cottages for 4 years and this cottage is now a family favorite, we hope to return!

Great break away

Amazing cottage and setting to get away. Brought Grandma and kids and everyone had everything they needed. Fun kayaking with the boys to the waterfall and out to larger waters. Saw beavers and ducks. And Grandma enjoyed the amazing outdoor seating spaces. It was a very hot week so we were thankful for the AC. Definitely added to the list of places we would return to.

Our second stay

This was our second time staying at this property and yet again, it did not disappoint! This cottage has become a family favorite. We love spending our days by the beautifully landscaped waterfront. The kayaks are a hit for our family. We enjoyed great fishing right off the dock as well. The cottage has been meticulously cleaned each year we’ve visited and has plenty of space for our family of eight. The host Cheryl is a pleasure to deal with and responds to any questions in a timely manner. We hope to return again next year! Thank you for yet another great stay 😊

I've been coming up to this Lake for many years in my younger days. It's been awhile since. What a welcome back. Cottage was better than advertised. Comfy, quaint and modern. Even with the lake at an all time low the lake didn't disappoint. Even a 3 pounder off the dock. Thank you Cheryl for allowing us to enjoy your hardwork. I will recommend and book again!

Fantastic Cottage!

The cottage has everything you could possibly want or need. We had such a relaxing time there and would definitely rent again. For me it doesn't matter much about the lake as I am happy to sit beside it or kayak on it but for swimmers there were a lot of lily pads but a small area cleared for swimming. As long as you have 90% of what you need grocery wise you are set! Otherwise the nearest full grocery is 45 minutes. None of this would deter us from renting again! We loved it and the beds were to die for! Cheryl was super communicative and helpful!!! We will no doubt be back!!!

Girls getaway paradise!

This cottage has everything anyone could need or ask for and more! All previous reviews were right...it is the perfect combination of cozy meets modern...and its on a beautiful setting in a natural paradise. We came up for a friends 40th and girls getaway and were super happy with all of the comforts and attention to details that were provided. Both inside and outside of the cottage were very spacious and provided lots of room and seating options for our large group of six. The cottage is set on a very private, quiet part of the lake so we felt like we had the area to ourselves most of the time. The only thing that we would change (which is not possible, and really isn’t even that bad) would be the amount of weeds in the lake. However, the water temperature in the lake is perfect and the three kayaks provided were amazing to get out and enjoy the beauty on the water.

Terrific family getaway

So pleased with this spacious cottage for our summer getaway for our family of 5. The lovely landscaping outside areas provided many spots to enjoy this quiet waterfront location. The all windows room along the whole back of the home with the elevated table was our go to spot for all our meals early morning coffee card games puzzles - always just felt like being outside. and the ducks and geese never failed to entertain with their antics throughout the week. Several days we were able to enjoy the kayaks out on the lake and exploring some of the islands and waterfall just right of the cottage-we even saw a bald eagle enjoy its catch along the shoreline. All 3 bedrooms were so sizeable and provided ample comfort as were facilities in both bathrooms. Kitchen was terrifically stocked with so many quality utensils and supplies. Look forward to returning again. Thank you Cheryl and Ashley.

Fall Splendor

Cottage very well laid out and furnished. Big windows all around showing views of the lake. Patio and dock area fabulously laid out in stone, and well equipped with seating options, all the better to take in the fall colours and reflections in the water. Dark sky even reflected Jupiter shining. One quibble is more lighting over the stove is needed, especially now that days are shorter so natural light isn't available after sunset. But overall a great home away from home!

Another Great Week

Really enjoyed our stay again this year. The cottage has all we need. Canoeing on the Lake is great fun. The gazebo is perfect place to read and relax. Fires at night under the stars a perfect way to end the day.
