Serenity LakeHouse on Mabel Lake - Hot tub & 105 feet of beach
We are located 35 km from Lumby ( population of 2,073) therefore we are not impacted by the provincial short term rental laws. This 3 bed, 2 bath home has little to do with roughing it and everything to do with unwinding and relaxing. The open concept living area has a gas fireplace and a wall of windows to capture the spectacular view and sunsets. There is a full kitchen with convection oven and microwave. all the small appliances you could need including blender and Keurig. Your own laundry facility. The main bedroom has its own bathroom with shower. A private 105 foot beach or stay by the deck and use the hot tub. Nearby snow mobile trails or one hour to Ski SilverStar. 35 km north of Lumby your private vacation home awaits.
Serenity lakehouse is a hidden gem. The perfect place to unwind and enjoy a stunning lake and incredible views. The cabin has well equipped kitchen to create gourmet meals as well as a top notch bbq. The beds have quality linens and are a bit too comfortable :) The views of the lake are to die for. The lake is the calmest lake I have experienced and enjoyed using my paddle board every day. I even fished for rainbow trout off of it! Overall a very lovely, relaxing place to stay. Thank you Bruce and Jo for sharing your lovely oasis with us!
Mabel lake is a quiet lake that still offers all the fun of the bigger, more well known lakes. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, fishing, SUP, and relaxing with friends and family in a stunning setting. The cabin itself is perfect. With wall to wall windows overlooking the beautiful lake, we felt like we were on the dock even when we were inside. Everything is clean and bright and modern and the hosts have provided so many little extras such as condiments, coffee pods, pancake mix and even frozen cookie dough so you can bake up some fresh cookies. Check in was easy and the hosts made sure everything was what weâd expected. We had a wonderful week and hope to be back next year.
Description and pics are accurate. You will have everything you will need without having to bring all the necessities (tp, condiments, salt pepper, spice, paper towel, soaps...etc). Kitchen stalked with everything you will need. So many options to relax, at the dock or 3 different patios. The one thing I may recommend, if you have a 2 wheel drive car or just aren't comfortable on very rough logging road (which you will be on for 70 kms) is to take the extra time and go south to Lumby and north from there. We had a great time and would def. come back.
The location and space was beautiful. We felt at ease immediately upon arrival and were all reluctant to leave when it was time to go.
The hosts were quick to respond and communicated clearly to resolve any questions we had. We felt very welcomed and at home.
The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and the property has plenty of spaces for peaceful relaxation as well as connection with others. It is close to the Provincial Park and Marina.
Despite some inclement weather and unforeseen challenges we had a wonderful time. There are many options for activities despite the weather.
My friendâs 8 year old son said he would give it 11/5 stars! Highly recommend!
We enjoyed 6 days of pure beauty and peace in this lovely home at Mabel Lake. The hosts gave their place so much careful thought that we wanted for nothing.
We will definitely be back.
We have been coming to Mabel Lake for over a decade and alleyways wanted to have a place on this lake that we could call ours. The lake is deep and has all kinds of fish inlacing salmon and trout. We saw a sturgeon off our dock last summer as well. ( that is very rare). It is very comfortable swimming temperature in the summer.
Our property has great road access with only two kilometres of gravel to drive on. There is a provincial park one Kilometre north so if you have other families coming who wish to camp they are very close. We have private dock to moor your boat or just to use to enjoy the sun & water. There is one level living and one step access in for those with mobility challenges. We have a hot tub and a covered gas fire pit area to enjoy the evenings. We face west so the mornings are cool if you want to sleep in and you get to enjoy the sunsets from all parts of the property.
