Your home for holidays. Spacious, family-friendly vacation getaway, 900 meters from the Departure Bay beach, 4.2 kilometers from the Departure Bay Ferry terminal. Located In a quiet and serene neighborhood with plenty of trails nearby.
It is 200 meters from Linley Valley 6, Linley valley trail loop. Linley Valley is a 145-acre greenspace with a network of misty trails and a serene beauty. It is very lush and full of deer, with some lakes, and creeks, wooden bridges, and high ridgelines.

Excellent location. Just down the street from Neck Point Park, a must see trail park. In a quiet neighborhood with big windows. Overall a great stay.

The host is always available, very friendly.There are many options nearby to have a nice day:walking, swimming, visit downtown and many parks.The location is very quiet. There are 2 nice decks you can relax on or have a cup of coffee.

Nice clean and quiet base camp

We had a very pleasant stay at this property in May 2023. It was very clean and well equipped. Akash was very pleasant and helpful when we had a minor problem dealing with the front door lock. This is a very nice area with Piper's Lagoon and Neck Point parks a short drive away. We would definitely stay here again.

Arrived to find a deer on the lawn next door and also saw several rabbits. Quiet location close to Departure Bay. Unit had everything we needed, including washer/dryer and was dog friendly.

A lovely, peaceful place to stay in Nanaimo

I had to find an alternative to staying with relatives in Nanaimo and I found this gem in the `Sherwood Forest' neighborhood, which is centrally located in the city but feels like you are miles away from everything. The place was clean, the bed was excellent and the host was friendly, responsive and a great host! I would definitely come again and recommend to others looking for a quiet, safe and enjoyable stay in Nanaimo. Thank you!

Great Stay

I came to Nanaimo on short notice to deal with a family matter. Akash let me check in early which was helpful. The home was clean, quiet and located in a nice neighbourhood which was close to all amenities. Pets are also allowed which was great and Moki enjoyed hanging out on the window sill watching the birds. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Nanaimo gem!

The two of us enjoyed this property very much. Super-clean! Our host was exceptionally accommodating, as we were delayed by 3 days due to "do not travel" weather reports - he extended our stay for 3 days without further cost. When we asked for just one more day at the end, he was able to do that as well. Great communications between us! I recommend this VRBO as a great place for 2 to stay!

Couldn't have asked for a better stay!!

Like the title says, this is probably the best place I've ever stayed at. Booked it because my partner was dealing with a family emergency in Nanaimo and I wanted to be close to him and bring our cat along. We ended up needing some extra accomodations due to a death in my partner's family, but Akash and Rozy were extremely kind and understanding and gave us everything we needed. Made a HUGE positive difference in a difficult moment where all of us were grieving. If you're like me and get anxious about booking this sort of thing online, I can personally guarantee you this place is super worth your money. The suite is: - Super well maintained - Spacious - In a beautiful area in Nanaimo - Had everything we needed and more (good towels, extra bedding and blankets, good furniture, TV/Netflix with a guest account for us to use, all essential kitchen stuff to cook with, good heating, laundry room, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, even a booklet with info about the suite and fun things to do in the area!!) - The locking system to the suite felt very secure Thank you again Akash. If we need to be in Nanaimo again for the short term (and hopefully under happier circumstances) I'll definitely try booking this again!

This is a beautiful property in a quite neighborhood, surrounded by network of misty trails and serene natural beauty. The surroundings is very lush and full of deer and wildlife.

The property is centrally located and is close to Departure bay beach good for swimming, beachcombing, and sightseeing, The beach is also a launch site for kayakers looking to explore the coastline. There are islands along the coastline worth exploring, like the Newcastle, Gabriola and Protection Islands. Across the street from the beach are some shops serving coffee, ice cream, and other goodies. There is also a gas station and liquor shop .

Also, the property is 200 meters from Linley Valley 6 part of the, Linley valley trail loop (8.1 km). Linley Valley, located north of Nanaimo, is a 145-acre greenspace with a network of misty trails and a serene natural beauty.
