Thanksgiving in Gallatin Gateway

We spent Thanksgiving as a family at this property. Great area: short distance from Bozeman yet out in the country. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out. It was a great stay.

Nice Place & Location

This property is a wonderful place. It is off the beaten path, which allowed us to see a lot of wildlife (mostly deer a large herd of deer in the area) almost every day to and from the property.It's located nicely between Big Sky and Bozeman if you want to experience both, which is what we were doing. The scenery is great, and the property itself was very nice.

Perfect for Big and little ones

The home is located a little ways out of town in a beautiful area. The home was clean and well set up for families with children but also perfect for adult fun. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, fire ring and game room downstairs. Nice and quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful views

We were looking for a home that could accommodate our family that hadn’t been together in 20+ years for the holidays and this house had the space to fit us all and not make us feel like we were on top on one another. Great views out of all windows and a wonderful fire pit out back really helped us connect and get the full Montana experience we were looking for.

The house was very authentic to Montana living which is what we were looking for. It hosted our 14 girl bachelorette trip really well. Views are stunning, and the hot tub grill and fire pit were awesome features to the house. No AC wasn’t a problem in August with windows open and fans on. The poor water pressure did make it hard for 14 girls to shower efficiently but we managed okay. Overall great stay. I would recommend for a group closer to 10-12 adults.

Family trip to beautiful Montana

This house was perfect for our family trip. The lower level worked well for our younger family and their toddlers, while the older adults stayed in the main level rooms. The house was beautiful and thoughtfully designed, and the kitchen had all the conveniences needed. The yard was wonderful and we enjoyed watching elk roam the hills in the evening and deer on our walks in the neighborhood. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views of the mountains, yet we were convenient to Bozeman for trips into town.I would come back to this home as it checks all boxes for a multi aged family vacation.

Great house

Nice location. Perfect central location to big sky and Bridger bowl ski areas. Exactly 45 minutes to each. Plenty of space but only 2 bathrooms. Was fine for my family of 4 but could be a constraint if all bedrooms or beds are used. All in all a great house and amenities.

Stay for birthday

Overall, very wonderful place to stay but did need some cleaning as it was very dusty. Beautiful house and scenery and comfortable beds. The host was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. We would stay there again for sure! Shortcomings: The stairs up to the entrance do not have a rail and got very slick while we were there and we had some older people so that was a bit of a challenge as well as the main bath upstairs did not have any grab bars or hand holds and the tub was very high and a potential fall risk for short or elderly people. There was also not much for cleaning supplies to use.

Hi Mary, The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:Mary, We were happy to hear that you thought our home was wonderful and you enjoyed the house, scenery, and comfortable beds. Also, you found the host easy to work with and accommodating. We were concerned with your complaints. - We take cleanliness very seriously and were surprised by your claim that there was dust and that the property needed some cleaning. We make sure to dust the wood blinds, light fixtures, baseboards, and everything in the house during each cleaning. We wish if you found dust you would have let us know so that we were aware something was missed. - We provide our guests with plenty of cleaning supplies if they are needed, they are under the kitchen and both bathroom sinks and available for your use. - We apologize that we do not have grab bars in the bathtubs and stair entrances, but we did not feel this was necessary and we have not had any complaints about this. We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We continue to strive for the 5-star experiences we are known for.

Nice Place & Locations

Our experience was great. The location was off the beaten path (a few miles from the highway), which should be considered if renting a car in the winter (yay snow!). We made sure to get a 4x4 as a snow storm hit right before we arrived. It wasn't too bad (didn't actually need that much of a car, but better safe than sorry).We used the location as a base between Big Sky (skied 4 days) and Bozeman (had friends who moved here a couple years ago) to be able to enjoy both parts of the area. The drive to Big Sky was awesome (canyon with a small river along it for a large portion of the drive). So I loved it. I would consider staying here again for skiing out of Big Sky for sure, as it allowed us to "get away" from any town or tourist-y feel of the resort.The property itself was very nice. It was well maintained, and it was very pleasant.

Great house for a family reunion

This house has a great layout for a large group of people, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to feel at home. There’s a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains. Loved that the house is out in the country away from town, but close enough to drive into Bozeman for restaurants! The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Our only complaint was the house needs a deep cleaning! The bathrooms and bed linens were clean but the house was dusty, especially under the beds and furniture. We had babies and had to retrieve pacifiers that were thrown under the bed! Please clean for the next families benefit. And please make sure there is propane in the bbq. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much!

Beautiful Home with beautiful views

This is a beautiful home with beautiful views. The location worked with our plans. We used the barbeque but it ran out of propane. The railroad tie steps were hazardous to my elderly mother-in-law. Yes, the pictures and description says steps but not these. There needs to be grab bars in the upstairs bathroom as my MIL could not navigate the tub or the steps downstairs to use the shower. The dining room light didn't work. The hot tub was probably overused by the kids and there were no instructions on how to maintain it. We did add water. We liked the access to half of the garage to store all the kayak gear while we made day trips.

We really enjoyed our time here! Me and my friends loved to stay in this beautiful and clean house, The surroundings are amazing and so quiet. The kitchen was really well stocked for cooking meals.
