My kids and I stayed for two nights awaiting my wifeâs arrival to San Diego Air Port and we had a great time at the pool area. The accommodations were comfortable and we had a fun time during our stay.
This property was comfortable and spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 teens. Pool was very nice and grounds were quiet. The pool area could use some updates and clean up but overall was great. There was a bit of a sewer odor and never really figured that it. It came and went. Didn't affect our stay at all but was a bit puzzling. Parking and getting out onto the road was tricky if you aren't used to hills but we figured it out. We would recommend this for a family stay.
The view from our room was great. The private pool was clean. The room was in excellent shape. High speed internet and access to a wide range of streaming services on the tv in the living room. The bed was very comfortable. The area of town is quiet. The owner was pleasant and personable.
The owner was nice and let us arrive early in the day which was great. He was very nice and quick to respond. The property is as described. The only bad thing about this place is a septic issue that was unpleasant. After 2 showers the smell of sewer was coming into the bungalow. Sitting down by the pool the smell was just as bad if not worse. There is another apartment below this one and maybe it was just more than the septic could handle with that many people.
Perfect secluded get away. Very quiet, relaxing with just the amenities. Rental is walkable to the top of Mt Helix and very close to La Mesa restaurants. We loved our stay.
Rustic cottage in peaceful setting. Perfect for small group seeking a beautiful setting
We enjoyed our stay and loved the feeling of the cottage with its private setting and beautiful views. Located in a neighborhood full of million dollar plus homes it is truly a gem. The owner needs to take more care to make sure the property is properly maintained and cleaned for his guests arrival.
I am a network engineer by trade and work from my home office. We moved to San Diego in 2013 because we loved the weather, the city and the area we live in.
This property has great views of the valley and is located in peaceful Mount Helix. We have a one acre garden, very large pool and are 12 miles from the coast.
This unit is the top floor of a two story pool house . It has a private, locking entrance.
What we most enjoy about our home is the garden, the views and the neighborhood. Most of the homes on Mount Helix were built in the 1950's and 60's and are all unique and well kept. This is a very safe neighborhood and close to everything we enjoy about San Diego.
