COAST NEST | Relaxing Beach Retreat | Ideal for Couples | Pet Friendly

Coast Nest exudes Cape beach culture with its peaceful natural surrounds and beach shack vibe. It’s spacious, light, clean & super comfy with amenities that set us apart, fireplace, hammock, outdoor shower, pet friendly, quality books, games, wifi & more. Relax in style & enjoy all day sun from east & west decks. Unwind in nature, explore the pristine beaches, wild coastline, abundant wildlife. Grab a drink or meal at the local cafe or tavern on your way home. A great base to explore the Bass Coast region including Wilson’s Prom, Philip Island and Inverloch.
THE HOME: Coast Nest is freshly renovated, but still retains a great shack vibe that will take you back to your childhood beach holidays!

The house can accommodate up to 5 guests (including infants). The bedding configuration would suit one or two couples, 3 singles or a family whose children are happy to share one room.

- Linen including sheets, doonas, towels and ample blankets/throws.
- Evaporative cooling, fans and air conditioning for summer.
- Split system heating or wood heating for winter (please bring own wood - available from Bunnings or service stations). An additional panel heater is available for the bedrooms.
- Tea, coffee and pantry staples included.
- Outdoor dining with two outdoor seating areas - an east facing deck with table for 4, ideal for mornings, plus a covered rear west facing deck with lounge, hammock, fire pit, outdoor seating for 6 and Weber BBQ.
- Spacious open plan interior with two lounge areas and separate kitchen/dining area.
- Wifi, Smart TV, plus a range of toys, games & books and magazines.
- Outdoor hot shower to wash off the sand after a busy day at the beach.
- Large laundry with washing machine and separate toilet.
- Kitchen is well equipped and includes dishwasher, large fridge, ceramic cooktop, stone benches, microwave, coffee machine and plenty of crockery and cutlery.

BEDROOMS:

Bedroom 1 - One Queen Bed (at one end) and a King Single plus inner spring trundle bed at the other end. The trundle converts to a comfortable full height single bed (on request). This room also has a large (solid) sliding door which separates it from the main lounge area.

PET FRIENDLY

Coast Nest is pet friendly. We have a fully fenced garden which is well suited to mature and well behaved dogs. The rear covered deck, outdoor shower, dog friendly beaches (check times on signs), ample walking tracks and dog agility park (the Cape Estate) make Cape Paterson a puppy paradise.

Please Note: A two dog (or other pet) limit applies. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture and beds as fur is difficult to remove and some of our guests may have allergies. Additional fees apply if pet fur or odour needs to be removed.

THE LOCAL AREA

There is a lovely oval and kids playground around the corner from Coast Nest. The Bay Beach is about a 5-7 min walk and First Surf 10-15 min walk from Coast Nest. Local shops and cafes are an easy 10 min stroll from our place.

We also have great bird life at Coast Nest, as well as possums, wombats, echidnas and the occasional Koala! Each morning you will be woken (not too early hopefully) by wattlebirds, eastern spine bills and honey eaters. The stars are also amazing at Cape Paterson - make sure you light the fire pit, grab some marshmallows and a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful night sky!
