~ LARGE & LUXURIOUS ~
Spacious and lovely, A STONE'S THROW sleeps 14 and has outdoor resort amenities that include a pool with optional heat, spa, covered porch, built-in natural gas grill and wood burning fireplace. The pool heating fee is $85.00 per day to heat the pool to 80º F. Situated in an upscale community, our 6 BR, 3.5 BA, two story home is ideal for large families who seek a luxurious vacation home in a convenient location.

This home features both a formal living and dining room plus a cozy great room with comfortable seating in front of a natural gas fireplace. The fully stocked kitchen has Keurig and drip coffee makers plus a breakfast nook with table seating. A dedicated game room includes a pool table, foosball, TV and beverage bar plus window seating for your land shark cheering section. There are TVs in the living room, great room, game room and ALL bedrooms. YouTube TV is the streaming service; TVs are not satellite or cable serviced.

Large windows in the living room and along the back of the home create naturally bright rooms overflowing with ambiance. The size of our home allows for both peaceful moments away from the crowd and more social activities. Wifi is complimentary. Highchairs and Pack 'N Plays are available to rent. Home has smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

~ SLEEP LIKE A ROCK ~
The bedroom floor plan is split with 4 bedrooms including the primary suite and 2 baths upstairs and 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths on the ground floor. The elegant primary suite features a king bed, TV, walk-in closet, en suite bath and a private balcony with mountain and sunset views. A double sided fireplace adds warmth and charm to the primary suite and primary bath. The en suite bath is sizeable and has a garden tub, natural gas fireplace, walk-in shower and dual vanity sinks. There are doors in the primary suite that connect directly to Bedroom 2.

Upstairs, Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, walk-in closet and double doors that connect directly to the primary suite. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed, walk-in closet and access to the balcony at the front of the home. A desk in Bedroom 3 is ideal for your remote work and meetings. Bedroom 4 has 2 queen beds and a walk-in closet. ALL bedrooms have TVs, ceiling fans and storage for your personal belongings. Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 share upstairs Bathroom 2 which has a tub-shower combo and dual vanity sinks. A hair dryer and soap are supplied.

On the ground floor Bedroom 5 has a king bed and Bedroom 6 has 2 queen beds and a walk-in closet. Bathroom 3 with a walk-in shower is an en suite bath to Bedroom 6 and is shared with Bedroom 5. Also on the ground floor is a centrally located powder room for visitors or guests swimming in the pool.

A large and well stocked laundry room has a washer/dryer set to keep your wardrobe ready for the next adventure. Due to HOA actions, parking is limited to 3 vehicles and they must be parked in the garage. There is a car charging station in the garage for guests to use.

Our family friendly home in a peaceful and upscale neighborhood is a short distance from golf courses, Usery Mountain Regional Park, Chicago Cubs spring training at Sloan Park, Mesa Market Place Swap Meet, water activities on the Salt River and a variety of hiking and biking trails of all levels. Multicultural eateries and retail outlets are a quick commute from the neighborhood. The modern highway system makes it a short drive to Old Town Scottsdale, Tempe Town Lake, Phoenix and other exciting cities and attractions.

Community amenities include basketball & volleyball courts, parks, baseball and soccer fields, hiking & biking trails and a community fitness club with spa services. The area is a GOLFER'S PARADISE with 8 courses within 10 miles including the Las Sendas Golf Club, one of the top ten places to play in the USA.

~ RESERVATION NOTES ~
The minimum age to rent is 28 years.

We rent to families; exceptions to this must be approved prior to confirmation of reservation.

The names of all guests staying overnight at the property must be included on the Rental Agreement's guest list.

The number of people must be appropriate for the number of beds. If deemed necessary, Arizona Vacation Home Rentals reserves the right to approve the reservation based on sleeping arrangements.

Written approval is required to exceed the standard occupancy of 14 for this home. Unless Arizona Vacation Home Rentals has granted permission to exceed the standard occupancy number, Guest agrees to limit guests, including infants and children, to standard occupancy of fourteen (14).

Daytime visitors to home may not exceed two (2) people to include adults, infants and children unless prior permission is granted by Arizona Vacation Home Rentals.

Absolutely NO parties, gatherings or events of any size permitted. Home and community are for quiet enjoyment only.

To ensure neighborhood noise levels are respected, the home has NoiseAware, an excessive noise alert system that measures noise levels. It does not record sounds or conversations.

For guest security, on the outside of the home is a security camera that faces the street and driveway.

All AZ Vacation Home Rental properties have working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Please disregard misinformation on Vrbo.

NO pets (including visiting pets) are allowed inside or outside the home. The owners and some guests have severe allergies and the home must remain pet free.

All TVs are for streaming and not satellite or cable serviced. Youtube TV is the streaming service.

Violation of any house rule may result in termination of the rental contract, eviction and Guest will forfeit all monies paid, including rent, cleaning and deposits.

AZ Vacation Home Rentals reserves the right to require a refundable security deposit.

The pool heating fee is $85.00 per day to heat the pool to 80º F. There is a 4 day minimum.

Spa heating only with no pool heating is $25.00 per day, October 1 through April 30. There is a 4 day minimum.

Guests who are paying the monthly reservation rate will be charged a daily electricity fee for any days that fall in the months of May through September.

Business and Pleasure

I had work to do in this area and brought my family. This home is large and beautiful. We enjoyed our month long stay and all the space we had. It was definitely our home away from home - so well stocked and organized! The kids were especially happy with the game room and we all spent a good amount of time in the pool and backyard. Location was good for grocery shopping and other conveniences. On weekends we explored the mountain trails and nearby cities. It’s easy to get around here and there’s lots to see. AVHR was the best to work with renting and answering questions. We highly recommend this home and management company

Home away from Home

We enjoyed the house layout, large kitchen, multiple entertainment locations, and the great outdoor area. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, utensils, etc. The property managers were outstanding in answering all questions.

Ridiculous to have to pay for Electricity

The house is lovely and very nice. The only issue with this rental was that we had to put the electricity (Solar) in our name and we stayed 30 days and the bill was $450. For Solar? Something is not right here. VRBO property should include electricity.

Golf trip

Six long time friends rented this home for a golf trip to the Mesa and Scottsdale areas. Well appointed with everything you need and we enjoyed the opportunity to gather outside at the pool and hot tub, or in the large family room to watch some March Madness. The management company was very responsive to any questions or concerns, and it was an enjoyable trip.

Handicap accessible

The property was beautiful. The rooms were spacious but the bathrooms were very sparse to say the least. The bathrooms were nice and clean, however they were small and the doorways were not handicap accessible. We rented this location because after speaking to the property manager, we felt it would be a great fit for our needs. We were traveling with a non ambulatory handicap person who needed access to the doors and rooms. The rooms were spacious and great. However the doors into the house were not wheelchair accessible and there were no provisions for that as we were lead to believe. As well we didn’t know that we couldn’t park our handicap vehicle in the driveway and it wouldn’t fit in the small garage space. We found this out a week before we were to arrive. Had to go park the van 3-4 miles away and go retrieve it every time we wanted to go somewhere. Fortunately, we had another rental car that made this all possible. Didn’t realize that this house was in a HOA restricted area and that they had rules as well. I know the neighbors were not happy as they came out and took pictures and videos of the van, probably to report us to the HOA, making all of us feeling uncomfortable and awkward the whole trip. This happened on several occasions. Overall we were pleased with the property, felt that we could have been better informed about handicap accessibility and HOA restrictions. This probably would have changed our decision to rent this particular property. The pool was

Great House and Great Location

This house has everything you need! Great location to stores, golf and activities. The house is amazing with loads of space and a backyard that is 2nd to none. We had 8 guys there on a golf trip and this was the perfect house, everyone had their own bed, loads of space to spread out when we were home and we loved playing pool in evenings. Highly recommended property!

Excellent vacation home!

We had a group of 11 stay at the house. It was amazing. Perfect set up, everyone had a bed, and plenty of space to spread out. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were heated to the perfect temp. The communication with the rental company was amazing. They were helpful and. Very quick with responding. We will definitely be back!

Az trip December 2022

Took a week long trip to get out of the cold winter Washington weather. Property was amazing especially the back yard pool, grill, fire pit, and hot tub set up. Perfect for us to be close to golfing, shopping, and several trails. The management company was the best if dealt with. They messaged me prior to the stay to touch base and then turned on the heated pool for us. They even asked if there’s anything else we needed or we wanted at the property. They also checked in part way through and made sure everything was good. We asked for a few minor things and maintenance and they sent someone out right away! Highly rated for the amazing property and even better management

Perfect in All Ways

We were thrilled to find this home and it was even better than we expected. We met here for a family reunion and there was enough space for us to spread out and be comfortable. I can’t say enough good things about how clean the home was. It’s also well stocked and we had everything we needed to have meals here. The inside of the house is beautiful and the older kids loved the pool table! My sister had to work for a few hours most days and appreciated the bedroom desk where it was quieter. We all had fun in the pool and at night we sat at the outside fireplace and told stories. It was easy to shop and find restaurants we liked that were close. We’re planning another reunion next year and have already looked into having it here again. It was the perfect place for us in all ways! Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us!
