Wonderful place to stay

The apartment was very clean, quiet, cozy, and all around perfect. We were in close proximity to everything we wanted to see and do. Lisa was wonderful to work with and was even kind enough to recommend places to eat and check in to see how our trip was going! No complaints and will definitely plan on coming back!

Perfect and Peaceful

This was the perfect rental for our family getaway and will definitely rebook the same property on future visits. Hosts were great and the rental included all amenities needed for the five day stay. Country Comfort

This new barn apartment is very clean, up-to-date, and nicely furnished with everything that you need for a short stay near Colorado Springs. It's only minutes from town, and located close to lots of beautiful hiking and biking trails in the Black Forest.

Snowy spring weekend

What a treat to wake up to accumulating snow in late May in the woods! Our barn apartment was cozy, the driveway was accessible and the owner surprised us with homemade pumpkin bread! We hope to return for a longer visit.

Relaxing stay in the forest

My family of 4 adults & 2 children had a lovely stay at the barn apartment over Thanksgiving. The location in the forest is private and yet easily accessible, with magical outdoor lighting. The attention to detail is evident throughout, including the well stocked kitchen and beautiful, comfortable bedding. Lisa is a warm, welcoming host. She was wonderful to work with and met us upon arrival with freshly-baked muffins! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Absolute amazing location and hospitality

Traveling and vacationing with four kids ages eight, six, three, one can be an adventure but Lisa and her family made it a great one! Lisa was so accommodating to our needs, requests and questions, even offering many kid friendly excursions for our family that proved to be some of our best adventures in Colorado. The Barn apartment was hands down worth every single penny. It was so comfortable and quiet and all the trees surrounding the barn make you feel much more part of Colorado than a hotel or a house in town. If we return to Colorado, we will again stay in the barn apartment. I strongly recommend the apartment for any one looking for a place to stay outside city limits and enjoys peace and quiet. Thank you Lisa!

We loved the barn!!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the barn! Everything was immaculately clean & beautifully decorated. Our daughters (6 & 3) loved the novelty of sleeping in a “barn” and they were especially excited about the bunk beds. The layout suited our group of 5 well. The sofa bed was exceptionally comfortable. The peaceful property full of trees was such a relaxing spot to return to after a day of adventure. It was a great location—quiet and out of the city, but still easy access to all of the sights. It was not a big deal at all, but one small tip—bring slippers, you’ll be glad you did. Lisa was an excellent host responding quickly to any questions, so graciously accommodating us when weather changed our plans, and welcoming us upon arrival. It was the perfect getaway & we will definitely be back when visiting the area!

Magical!

What a treat! We found our stay very welcoming, clean, comfortable and spacious for the three of us. Lisa pays attention to the small details that give this the feel of home away from home. We were able to put the kettle on for a cup of tea and relax immediately. Our beds were cozy and comfortable with a beautiful view of trees in the forest. We felt secluded, but had stores and restaurants at our fingertips. The best part was the communication with Lisa. She was always one step ahead and offered amazing recommendations that enhanced our experience and kept us safe. High winds do exist and not to be questioned. :) A fantastic experience that would not have happened without our stay at the Brandt Barn. Can’t wait to return in the Spring!
