Eleanor Shipley park has 2 large play areas for children and numerous free BBQs or use the large BBQ on the front deck. It's a 2 minute walk to the local bakery, beauty salon, general store and Lotto office, Moffat Beach Family medical practice, and pathology centre. There is also a Post office, a bike shop with vet surgery only 5 minutes walk away.

The very popular Moffat Beach has restaurants and cafe's all within 5 minutes walk of the house. ( The Pocket, Sunnys, Moffat Brewery and Moffs) Also some gift shops to find the holiday memento.

Eateries at adjacent Dicky beach and the Dicky Beach Surf Club are an easy 10 minute walk away.

Moffat Beach has a great right hander at high tide when there is a southerly swell or Kings Beach is protected from those northerlies in summer. Tooway lake will entertain little ones for hours.
