Everything was terrific - property is in great shape, conveniently located, and was accurately described in the listing. Outstanding customer service and interactions with the owner. Check in/Check out process was seamless. Will definitely return!
This is a great condo for all of your Killington needs. The location is excellent as it is just off the access road making it close to skiing, shopping, and dining, but it is also very quiet as it is set back from the busy main road.
As other guests have noted, the house is well-appointed with updated kitchen appliances and bathrooms.
With that said, both of the couches are extremely uncomfortable. One is so worn out that the faux leather is peeling, the cushions are tired, and it was impossible to find a comfortable way to sit as the couch is beyond its lifespan. The second couch seems newer, but it terribly stiff and also dreadfully uncomfortable. Normally I would not review furniture in a rental, but it is worth mentioning here as we sat on the floor or at the dining room table because both couches were so inhospitable.
Other guests noted the poor quality of the beds and we agree. The beds are in desperate need of being replaced. In particular, the king bed is super firm and also beyond its lifespan.
If the couches and the beds were replaced this condo would be 5 stars!
The property was clean and communication with the manager was great. We enjoyed our stay. One thing I did not expect was that one of the bedrooms didnât directly connect to the main room. Anyone in that bedroom had to go through the entry way to get to the living room and kitchen. We wish it included shampoo/conditioner.
This is a very quiet condo. We stayed 5 nights. The entry is a bit odd, but once you get used to it, pretty simple. This would be a great condo for 2 couples traveling together. After an initial foopah with the cleaners and working with Mike (the owner), which got worked out pretty fast, we really enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend. Also, The Foundry, just up the road is well worth a couple of visits. Great food.
Very nice condo BUT ... the hot water pressure was terrible and we didn't like the fact that the second bedroom is separate from the main housing.
It's not an ideal situation if a couple is traveling with children. And we would have preferred if we were all together in one unit.
Loved the location and the rooms were clean and well decorated. Worked great for our needs. Owner checked in with us to see if we had any questions or issues. Very friendly and easy to get a hold of him with questions.
Somewhat awkward layout but comfortable stay at Killington.
We were two couples in VT for a wedding, and this condo was much more comfortable than the motel rooms that the wedding party had blocked in the next town. The kitchen is well stocked (even though we only needed to make breakfast) and the DR table and living room provided comfortable space for us to hang out together in between the wedding events. The bedrooms were comfortable and with a total of three full bathrooms in the unit we were never vying for shower time. The odd configuration meant that the couple using the separate bedroom had to use the door codes every time they went from the bedroom to the main unit or back. We finally put the door jam in to avoid that and figured that it was safe enough while we were inside. Host had good communication and everything went smoothly.
Note if you use the "master" bedroom you won't really have room in the dresser drawers to put your clothes if you like to unpack from your suitcase.
Condo looks just like the pictures. Clean, comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Pool was heated to 85 degrees. We would recommend to anyone.
The only negative was the water pressure. If one person was taking a shower, it was totally fine. If two people were taking a shower or one person was and someone used a faucet the pressure would decrease quite a bit. Something the owners could work on possibly. Once we realize this, we really did not have any issue since we only took one shower at a time . We would still definitely stay here again.
The property was immaculate and literally on the access road to Killington. Very cozy place to stay and has all the creature comforts a skier would be looking for. Will be staying here again on my next Killington trip! 10/10
My family of 4 had a great stay at this condo. It took a night to get used to the foyer / separate rooms situation (as noted in other reviews and listing it is a little strange) but it really wasnât an issue at all. The condo is clean and spacious, the beds are really comfortable and it has everything we needed like washer and dryer, dishwasher, etc. The location is fantastic, a 5 minute drive to Killington skiing and about 7 minutes to Pico. There are tons of restaurants even closer (we ate at Rivershed right next door which was excellent). Would definitely recommend staying here.
We had a great time staying at this property. Only a couple minute drive to the mountain and shops/restaurants. Allowed us plenty of room to hangout and cook. Communication before and after with the property owner was excellent. Would definitely recommend this property and will be looking to stay here again next year.
The unit was clean and comfortable with everything you needed. Location is great and it was very quiet and private for being so close to most everything. Would defenitely stay here again and recommend!! Communication with Michael was excellent!
This is an unusual combination of two bedrooms and a living room / kitchen that are joined together in a private lobby. The original description was a little confusing but here's the bottom line: you enter through a door into a small private lobby with three more doors inside, each leading to a separate bedroom or the kitchen and living room. It is no problem to join them all together and not notice that they can actually be separated.
The rooms are big, there are three full bathrooms with showers and tubs. The place is fully equipped with everything you would need. There is private parking right outside the door. It is one flight of stairs up to the unit. There is plenty of light and heat. The washer and dryer work.
We can recommend this place without reservation!
Even the bears like this area.
Our first time visiting Vermont. We chose this location as it was central to the areas we wanted to explore. Unfortunately we were disappointed with some things in the unit. The king bed is very uncomfortable and slopes to the middle. The bathroom connected to the king room had low water pressure in the sink. The bath towels were old, dingy and scratchy. The loveseat is worn and peeling (it's covered up in the photos with the animal skins). It was very dusty in the entire unit. The large bathroom off of the kitchen is really nice with a large walk in shower. The appliances are nice. The location worked well for us.
Nice, well appointed condo in a location with easy access to the shops and restaurants along the access road, and a minute from Route 4. The sidewalk path along the access road begins at the property address and offers a nice long walk.
We were a large group of mountain bikers looking for space for six with the space for equipment. We were also looking for close proximity to the hill. In all cases, the condo delivered on what was promised. It was nicely renovated, easy to access, had everything we could have hoped for and even having the breakfast cafe at the top of the hill was a getting started bonus. It felt personalized and lived in at the same time clearly not too personal. The host was excellent and we had a great time.
We have been coming to Killington for 18 years and rented a home for 8 years. We are avid skiers / snowboarders and have traveled the world doing both but call Killington our homebase and love it as much now as we did 18 years ago. When we found this condo, we knew it was the right one as the developer told us it was his favorite and nicest condo out of those he newly renovated. Parking is unlimited and its set back in its own quiet area near the Westhill Road entrance to Killington. The front entrance to the condo center is on the Killington Access Road. The decor is perfect, clean and chic and modernly designed. Lots of sunlight, new amenities, etc. So, because of all this, we purchased the condo without hesitation and love sharing it with others looking for an amazing place to stay.
Parking is spacious and the driveway is always paved. Lots of sunlight. Very close to the parking lots to the Killington Chairlifts. Breakfast and lunch cafe 30 seconds away in the front of our complex and the Star Lounge Bar is 1 minute away and the Foundry Bar and Grill is 2 minutes up the road. Once you leave our parking lot and the right is another nice restaurant called Rivershed which is also in walking distance. They have the best BBQ and also mac and cheese dishes people rave about. Bus service to the mountain every hour which picks up and drops off just in the front of our parking lot.
Quiet, Clean and Very Convenient. Bus Pick up and drop off to the ski lifts. Breakfast and lunch Cafe at the BackCountry Cafe. Ski shops in our parking lot and walking distance to the Foundry Grill, North Star Lounge and Rivershed BBQ. Our kitchen is stocked with all the cooking pots, pans, utensils and spices needed for cooking the perfect stay at home meals and the rest of the condo is stocked with extra blankets, pillows, towels and sheets to make for that perfect stay. We have a sliding glass door in the living room with access to the back deck for outside views and fresh air. While we are in building 6, just across from building 5 is an easy access dumpster for removal of trash to help keep the unit always nice.
