Nestled in the woods, surrounded by mountains and on the shores of Annie Lake, this new, bright, quiet, off-grid cabin provides a unique and tranquil getaway, or a place to relax after a day of adventure on local trails and waterways. Easily accessible and only 45 minutes from Whitehorse. The perfect spot for night time star gazing and northern lights viewing.

Canoeing on nearby lakes and rivers along with hiking, skiing, and ATV trails.

An outdoor shower with hot water is available from May to September.

This is our favorite spot to stay when around the Whitehorse area. Tamra is very attentive and makes sure everything is set up perfectly before we arrive. The cabin is spacious and fits 2 (and a dog) very comfortably

Wonderful slice of paradise. What a steal for the experience and mountain view. If you are passing through Whitehorse or the surrounding area please consider this lovely place. Comfy bed, blue jug provided, shower and an atmospheric porch where many books were read. Host respects privacy and serenity but is around if needed. Thanks.

Great space with all the creature comforts needed in a cabin. The bed was comfortable, kitchenette was efficient, and we enjoyed cooking in the tiny oven and on the BBQ. The covered patio made the rain a special treat as it tinkled musically on the tin roof. The wood stove was a luxury as we enjoyed fresh snow on the peaks. The outdoor shower felt so nice after a long day of exploring the alpine and mountain peaks in the area. There were extra supplies provided including toiletries, spices and matches. The bonus canoe gave us magnificent and humbling 360 views. We recommend this stay for rest, relaxation, and wild spectacular views.

What a lovely, peaceful spot! Perfect for a weekend away to slow down. The cabin was comfortable and cozy, and Tamra was very helpful in making sure we knew where amenities are and any quirks to know about the place. Cant wait to be back in the summertime!

We loved this cabin. It’s perfect for disconnecting and spending time out in nature. There’s tons of walking trails nearby and the lake is so beautiful. Our host Tamra was wonderful, very communicative and helpful with all of our questions.

Had an amazing stay! Even nicer than it looks in the photos. Easy to get to, lovely host, and more amenities than you'd expect (fridge, power for charging phones, indoor propane stove...). Wonderful experience

This is a great place that is exactly what is advertised. Wonderful hostess and most hospitable. This laid-back location has easy access to skiing and snowshoeing right from the door. Comfortable dry cabin with a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of warmth with the wood stove, and nice furniture. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet getaway and enjoying fantastic views.

Nice break from our camper

We’d been traveling for about 5 weeks in our small camper and wanted to have a break with a little more room but still be in an undeveloped area and Tamra’s cabin was perfect. Off grid and simple but who needs more - a fireplace and wood, 5 gallon jugs of water, a two burner stove and oven, comfy bed and pit toilet. The lake was beautiful, we took walks and even saw the northern lights one night!

Perfect Peaceful Place

This Annie Lake cabin is fantastic! Although it was cold outside the cabin remained warm and cozy. The space had everything we needed in a perfect location. The views outside the cabin are absolutely stunning with amazing sunrise and sunset views.. Also great for seeing the Northern Lights. We stayed for a New Years getaway and it was peaceful and tranquil. Great trails for cross country skiing and perfect for snowshoeing. Highly recommend! Serenity

If you are looking for a quiet place away from the city this is absolutely perfect. The kitchen has everything you need. Firewood is provided for the wood stove, blue jugs with clean drinking water, and the cutest cleanest outhouse with a view you have ever seen! The view of the mountains was so spectacular. No cell reception made it even better to disconnect. If you want to relax with no distractions, this is absolutely perfect! 10/10 recommend!!

Enjoyed this semi-private and secluded one room cabin. Too cold to use outdoor shower, and no front wall and or door on outhouse. Recommend the following: (1) Remove two trees which will allow spectacular view of lake and mountains. (2) Clear small sitting area near water’s edge. (3) Hang mirror in cabin. (4) Make available flashlights for outdoors at night. Thank you.

Great communication with owner and the cabin was a fantastic place to soak in the mountain views and disconnect.Although we experienced chilly weather, the outdoor shower was part of the rustic charm.We were surprised at first, but actually loved the fact that outhouse had no door. Great views on the mountains!Just a heads up to other campers: although the cabin description indicates wifi access, the satellite dish is actually connected to another cabin, so your access is dependent on these visitors turning their power on and off.Otherwise, a great stay and would definitely visit again.

A most beautiful little hideaway! With stunning views of the mountains. Very cozy yes spacious cabin. Very cozy and comfortable bed. Beautiful covered deck for a nice bevy in the morning sunrise. Quiet with a haunting howl on occasion that just fit with where you are. It’s like coming home to grams cabin for the weekend. The outdoor shower was such a blissful experience with the sun overhead. A perfect place to escape all the hassles of the world and truly unplug! We will be back for more then two nights. I will make a note for folks that there is a second cabin so for privacy for the cost just rent both! Thank you for hosting us Tamra.

Gute Kommunikation vorab, leider war bei Anreise die Gastgeberin nicht vor Ort. Ruhige Lage gleich am See. Kein Mobilfunkempfang. Die Besonderheiten dieser Unterkunft sollten in der Beschreibung besser dargestellt werden. Die Toilette ist ein Plumpsklo etwa 50m vom Haus entfernt. Die Dusche ist (mit warmem Wasser ausgestattet!) auch etwa 50m vom Haus entfernt und wird mit einer anderen Hütte geteilt. Im Haus gibt es kein fließendes Wasser. Das Wasser wird in einem großen Kanister von der Gastgeberin zur Verfügung gestellt. Insgesamt ist alles sehr rustikal. Wer sich diesbezüglich im Klaren ist wird einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt verleben. Uns hat es nachdem wir auch den Grill gereinigt haben sehr gut gefallen.
