8 day stay for a family of 5. Nice, quite location away of the hustle of typical Orlando attractions yet with decent access to shopping (5 mins) restaurants (15-20 mins) and amusement parks (30-40 mins, more with traffic). Clean home, games in the garage, pool, and serene lake front were all big positives. The owner/manager was responsive to our questions and addressed most of our issues quickly.
We spent a month at this house and enjoyed the stay overall. The house had all the amenities stated in the listing; the best being the view of sunsets in the evenings over the small lake beyond the backyard. We even watched many raccoons in the yard next door. On the other hand, the pool heat was not working when we arrived and it took a week before it was fixed. Also, the bathroom rugs were sticky and needed to be washed. Lastly, the beds/mattresses were soft with indentations. Please note that the Management company was responsive to our calls.wasresp
We had a great time staying to visit with family. Did some fishing in the lake out back and enjoyed the pool. The house is older but has been nicely remodeled; the pictures are an accurate representation.
We were in town for a volleyball tournament and didnât really want to go to hotel route. This is in easy driving distance to the convention center just 20 minutes away, plenty of eating and grocery stores close by. We did utilize the pool and did a little fishing in the lake in back. we both work remotely so the desk in the master bedroom was it added touch. Very clean would recommend
The overall stay was just ok. Only tiny trash can in kitchen. Absolutely zero cleaning products. Not even a sponge to wash dishes. No dish soap or dishwasher tablets. No shampoos at all. Couldn't find a broom to sweep. The pool was very small and didn't get deep. Very minimal cooking necessities. Only one very small frying pan. Would recommend the owner to add some small conveniences to accommodate guests a little better.
My husband, 17 year old daughter, and 13 year old son stayed here for 10 days. The size of house was perfect for our family. The pool was as expected and appropriate for the size of the house. You could tell it is in need of a little repair on the decorative tile, which I'm sure will come in future renos, but overall it was a great size for our family to take a dip and relax after a long day of theme parks or touring Florida.
The house was freshly painted with new floors throughout. Master bedroom was huge with large walk-in closet and master bathroom. A nice bonus was the foosball and ping pong tables in the garage. We did not see that in the listing and were pleasantly surprised to find them there. We played both plenty during afternoon rain storms or just a quiet day at the house.
Above all, the location of the house was the deciding factor as to why we chose this house. The neighborhood was quiet and the house backed up to a rather large lake. We did not see any alligators personally but there were plenty of warning signs.
If I could attach a picture of the sunsets we saw over the lake during our stay I would. The skies were pink and purple and the clouds were majestic. Truly one of the best reasons to pick this house over others.
The property managers were quick to respond to other reviews and during our stay, brought a larger frying pan and broom for our use.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay and would choose this house again if we go back to the area.
