Great Stay!

The owner, Donna was as sweet as she could be and very responsive to any needs. Property was great, really enjoyed the outdoor space! We had a great stay and will be back again!

Lovely vacation!

We throughly enjoyed the outdoor area, it was great for a group! The hot tub gets dirty easily due to all the trees so you do have to clean it before using, and the tiki torches were empty which was a shame. But it was still enjoyable. This house has great potential, but it is in need of a GOOD deep cleaning and inventory check (spices expired, no kitchen towels, some stuff in downstairs kitchen and not in upstairs kitchen, etc). Having the golf cart was a great addition to get to the beach (cannot park there though) and to go into town for coffee! The location is great, it’s close to the beach and the town of topsail.

Family vacation

My kids and I really enjoyed our stay. At first I was worried about the owner being on site. It was an awesome experience. Donna really took care of the place and my kids really liked her. It was a well needed vacation. We will definitely be back.

Cozy get-a-way!

As good or better that the photos and write-up. So comfortable!! Owner provides ample supplies like beach towels and housing staples. The hot tub is amazing! Just the time away from the hustle and bustle we needed. Run more like a B&B with tons of extra touches. The on-site owner is a gem! Knows all the hot spots and we left feeling like we made a new friend!

Beach Bliss

We loved our time at Donna’s beach house. It was a lovely, private and super family friendly home and neighborhood. The house was perfect for our 4 adults and 4 kiddos. The bathrooms are separate from bedrooms which makes utilizing either bathroom super convenient. Kitchen was well equipped for the several meals we prepared as well as the outdoor kitchen with flattop griddle. Hot tub was magnificent! It was a short drive (or golf cart ride!!) to the beach, sound and various restaurants and businesses. Our trip with the kids on the cart to the pier and icecream shop was a hit. Donna was a hoot! She is fun to talk to and is a long-time local who is knowledgeable and loves the area as well as people. She had great suggestions, was hospitable and respectful. We had everything we needed and plenty of extra to relax, have fun and really enjoy the laid back vibes of Topsail Beach with friends.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely beach cottage very much! The host was very responsive when we had questions and clearly communicated with us throughout the trip. The house is very cute and quirky (in a good way). Upstairs and downstairs are separate units entirely - which means you have two kitchens, but you also have to walk up outdoor stairs to go between the units. The outdoor space is lovely and the hot tub was great. The golf cart worked perfectly (though it was showing some signs of wear), just make sure not to drive it on the main road as the rules in Topsail have recently changed. We were able to take neighborhood streets everywhere we needed to go. The kitchen/dining amenities could use a refresh, but overall the home was exactly as expected and the host was extremely kind and helpful!
